    Poorly built

    A few of the screws holding on the hinge hardware were out and loose when I opened it up. It isn’t built well. I was able to screw some of it back in its designated holes but it’s wonky. If it doesn’t get opened too much it works fine as a sitting bench. I added some felt on the bottom legs otherwise the metal legs will scratch the flooring.

    Attractive at first, but for how long?

    Really like the style of this ottoman, but disappointed that the foam is not high density foam. The fabric/faux leather was not stretched tight either. The top can get baggy looking in a short time. On the fence on whether to return or not.

    Petite bench is a perfect addition to kids' room

    Better in person. This is a petite size storage bench. I have it in the kids’ room in front of a book shelf. It fits large puzzles easily. For placement, you will need four inches from wall to allow for the bench top to open.

    Well made but not very practical

    I needed an entryway bench with shoe storage. This arrived in great condition and it was easy to attach the legs. The seat cushion color is exactly as depicted. However, the bench is not that comfortable to sit on, and it's not deep or spacious enough for ladies' boots and shoes. To give you an idea, it can hold one queen size blanket in my bedroom which is where I had to put the bench.
