Cleansed my face with these wipes and eye area stung badly and became red. I got a reaction to them after trying them over two days to give them a fair shot, developing a lot of small spots over the face. Skin eventually settled after a day or two. Had to discontinue use. Not sure it would suit most sensitive skins unfortunately.
Was really intrigued to try these after seeing they are paraben free, cruelty free, and “fragrance free”, and was hoping they could be an alternative for the neutrogena wipes that I’ve been using for years.. Did not like these at all. Firstly, the smell that it leaves on your skin afterward is horribly strong imo. Cleansed my skin and continued with my normal routine and the smell was still lingering causing a fat migraine. Next day I woke up with pimples all over my four head and on my cheeks closer to the nose area, which I’m assuming was caused by the fragrance. And they did not take my waterproof mascara off at all. Even with a cleanser beforehand. They sucked. I don’t know what all the hype was about and I know everyone will react to them differently but these were not it. Went back to my trusty neutrogena wipes and it’s safe to say I won’t be trying any other wipes anytime soon.
To address the scent of these wipes, as someone who is very sensitive to fragrance, I don’t find these obnoxious at all. I think they smell a little soapy and lightly of the oils in the product. I also don’t really notice the smell a short time after using them. If you want something that uses perfumes to cover the smells of the active ingredients this won’t be for you.
I’ve tried many different natural make up removing wipes and these work by far the best for me. I am pregnant and my skin is super sensitive right now. They don’t burn my skin or make me break out. They take off my full-coverage matte make up and hard to remove mascara and they do it well. Other wipes have not been able to fully tackle the make up. They are large enough and thick enough that I only need to use one and it doesn’t fall apart.
If you’re curious, try them! If you hate them, take them back. I will keep buying them. I was pleasantly surprised.
