Q: Should I/can I use a moisturizer with this? I use the rovectin lotus water moisturizer. If so, should I put it on before or after? Will moisturizing affect the results of the product?

Moisturizing will help keep your skin feeling soft after using this product due to it being tied to retinol. We also recommend using an SPF in the morning since the product resurfaces the skin. I've always been a fan of honest skin care and beauty products but this is probably my new fav! The beauty sleep resurfacing serum has literally changed my face. Don't be put off by the smell it is all natural and it literally improves your skin I've been using it for a few weeks now and cannot get over how much better my face looks in the morning when I wake up!!!! Thank you Honest company you really nailed it with this one!!!!

Dark brown - not as advertised, old product received twice! I used this a couple of times before my husband pointed out that the color was weird. I liked the product; it didn't irritate my skin. But after looking at the images and videos it's obvious that the color should be much, much lighter. I looked at the Honest Beauty website to see if there was any information. It seems it's considered "ok" for the color to get darker, but what I received TWICE was very dark and looked almost muddy. I can't imagine this is actually how it should be.

In regards to the beauty serum, because of the acids in the formula, it can range from a honey color to a maple color. the smell is the maple water which gives a light sweet smell. it definitely gets darker as it ages but it doesn't affect product efficacy and is safe to use. It works pretty well after about 2-3 uses but the smell is awful. It’s very strong and I could smell it for about 5-10 minutes after applying. Adding a lotion on top helps hide the smell a little. Besides that it is a wonderful product. (FYI the serum is brown, it shocked me at first)

This is one of my favorite Honest Beauty skincare products! I noticed an immediate difference and when I take a break after running out my skin looks dull. I have purchased this product 4 times over the last few years (that's just how much I love it!) and would definitely recommend!

Found this on one of stores in Maryland, tried it and it works good for my skin. I have seborrheic keratosis and it doesn't help to prevent them. However, this serum makes my skin smooth (so does my fingers). It's easy to apply and I don't like the smell. Repurchase? I don't think so, I will try another serum from Honest which best for my skin.

I went through a couple of tubes of this miracle serum. Nothing gets rid of my blemishes as good as this this one. I have sensitive, dry but acne-prone skin and I can use it every night a couple of days in a row and it never irritates it. Since I started using this serum, my skin has never looked better!

Since developing allergies to many products, I rarely used skin care products for fear of a reaction. My esthetician daughter turned me on to your company and guided me to essential skin care products. The Beauty Sleep Resurfacing Serum improved the moisture in the skin and gave me a clearer smoother appearance of my skin. It has been over a year since using this product and definite must have!

I feel like this might be doing weird things to my skin... I don't love that it says you have to wear sunscreen if you use this product - makes me nervous about what this is doing to my skin. It does smell nice. Weird color (brown).

The serum was a dark brown and had the scent of molasses. It did not appear as shown in videos and pictures on the website. It was also thick and sticky. I had to discard.

Love the effects of this product, my skin has been super soft! Only tough part is that the serum does smell a little odd, but since I only use it at night it’s been fine!
