Q: How cold does it make a room?

A: I use the fan in my husband's office and the fan along with the central air conditioning system keeps the room comfortable. This room is a small room that usually is much warmer then other rooms in our home, therefore, I keep the fan going all the time when the outside temperature is 100 or more. It works very well for us.

A: I think mine is doing that at any of the settings, even the lowest one. It makes a sound like it’s fluctuating. I think mine is defective also and i just got it on 8/24/25

It was quiet for a few weeks. Now it makes a rattle sounds at low speeds. it sounds like there is a bearing or something is loose in the fan motor. The fan still technically works and does get better at mid to high speeds. it was easy to assemble. Not sure how long this will last. 2 stars because it still works.

After just a few months of using these fans all of them (we bought 4) squeal if it’s too low or too high. I have an old Honeywell tower fan from 2013 that is still preforming better than the new ones. Do not recommend unless you know how to disassemble and re grease the parts.

I figured it was time to buy a new fan since my other fan stopped turning off with a timer. Fan volume seemed like any other fan I've used, the lower speeds seemed more like they were for white noise. I would have purchased the 5 speed, but this one was cheaper. First night was fine, still wondered if I really wanted to spend $50 on a fan that seemed to do the same thing my fan from over 8 years ago did for just a timer issue. Day 2 of running the fan at night, made me want to return it. The fan had a squeaking sound that happened when it turned clockwise. It wasn't all the time, but it was probably 90% of the time. I tried to give the cord more slack, I unscrewed the base and repositoned the fan on the base and none of that helped fix the squeaking. I didn't use the remote, but I wish it would snap into place or be a little more secure. Just a minor thing, fell out when I held the fan upside down to try to fix the squeak (my fault). When you turn the fan on, it resets to "default" of not oscillating and lowest fan power. Not sure if there's a way to have it set to what it was last set as, it didn't matter that much since I was returning the fan. I'll probably just keep using my fan I've had unless a really good deal pops up.

This fan is amazing. I love to have it by my bed at night, and with 8 settings, there is one for any season or temperature. It has the option to turn the lights off at night. I love the manual buttons (not digital). My only complaint is it is SO easy to knock it over, and the plastic base at the bottom is far too flimsy and cracks easily. Probably not the best fan if your goal is air circulation for an entire room, but it's a perfect little bedside fan. Also pretty much impossible to clean as it's not really meant to be taken apart.

Do not buy. I got this since my ac was broken and this said it was a cooling fan with different cooling settings. It is NOT a cooling fan. Literally the air coming out of it is the same air in the room. Doesn't make it colder. Very disappointed and irritated

It makes noise when oscillating, to the point it woke me up 3 times the night I used it. I don’t know if something came broken or a piece is scraping somewhere or of the quality is poor… but it needs to be returned.

It isn’t very quiet. It doesn’t blow a lot of air. I think this fan is for small spaces. It’s in a bedroom and it works fine in there. I wouldn’t put it in my living room. So I think it’s good for an average size rooms. I’m just to lazy to return it after putting it together.

I purchased this fan mainly because it's advertised to be quiet at night. Now on the lowest setting it is really quiet, you can hear the blades spinning if you're right up near it but when it's across the room it's barely noticable. The problem is the oscillating feature. The oscillating motor keeps making a constant creaking noise. I literally reassembled the fan, tried adjusting it any way possible, and it stills creaks when oscillating. For the quality this thing should be only $40, because it feels and sounds that cheap.
