This particular model is not shipped and sold directly by Target. If it is a reseller on their site, there are things that cannot be verified such as when the warranty activation. In the case of sound quality and preferences, you may want to go to your local Target to see if they have any available units for sound tests and compare similar setups.

This laptop replaced an eight year old HP laptop which had served me well, old friend but with Windows 11 decided that it take early retirement. The new laptop is everything I expected and required, the main feature being I need a large screen and the conversion or adapting from Windows 10 to 11 was a lot simpler than expected. The only feature and a minor one is that I don't like or not used to the Power On switch which is included in amongst the function keys rather than being isolated away from the keypad. I would also liked it to have more than the two USB ports but I knew that limit when I purchased the laptop so just have to using a USB hub. If this HP laptop continues to serve me as faithfully and reliably as its predecessor, that'll do me.

It's a great computer. I love the screen size. The only thing I'm not happy with is the USB-C port is data only, not video. I didn't check that before I purchased, I kind of thought in this day and age they would all have video capability. It is clearly stated, so my fault for not checking.

This new laptop is quick in its responses but I remain unconvinced that the Windows 11 operating platform is an improvement on its predecessor which is to be abandoned by Microsoft in October 2025. Certainly the quick response is attributable to HP's quality product's technology. However, I've had those additional applications professionally installed which suffice for my needs- which are admittedly basic and functional - for my business and institutional activities.

I purchased this equipment some weeks ago now and unfortunately something has happened and it wants to liaise with my other HP Laptop which is not what I want. I would like them both to be stand alones Laptops and I also would like o be able to use my don gle and some setting will not even allow that. I have been to Optus and obtained a new sim card for my dongle but that has not helped at all

My last 17" HP Laptop lasted about 10 years before the no replaceable battery warned me of 6% life left and I knew it was time for a replacement, so I purchased this one at a remarkably great value. All is well with this one for the first couple of weeks, except for the white printing on the keys on the keyboard are already fading to the point that I have already had to purchase a stencil set to put over the keys so I can readd them. My old HP Laptop did not have this problem after 10 years, and the keyboard keys on it still appear like new, so I am quite disappointed in the way that the keys on this new PC have faded so drastically so soon

Love the sleek look and the excellent speedy delivery. I just can't seem to get my new computer to stay connected to the internet. I've had 2 support chats, and after completing all the steps, I am constantly having to relog in, therefore it is not staying connected to my home Wi-Fi. I am currently using my phone as a hotspot, but this is not great as I am working from home all day. I thought a new computer would not have these kind of issues.

With the finishing of windows 10 updates, I decided it was time to purchase a new laptop. My previous laptop was a HP Envy 17.3 purchased in 2015. The new 17.3 laptop has a fast start up. the only downside to my previous laptop is 1 less USB and the start button(power) is next to the Delete button, which is easy to turn off by mistake.
