A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about HP Sprocket Panorama Instant Portable Color Label & Photo Printer with Bluetooth This does come with a small starter roll of paper. This printer uses a special type of thermal paper technology called ZINK (Zero INK technology). which allows it to use color crystals for printing are embedded directly into the paper itself, which is why the printer doesn't use ink cartridges. For replacement paper you will want the HP Sprocket Panorama ZINK Paper Roll (sometimes called the 2-inch roll). The paper is sticky-backed (peel-and-stick), smudge-proof, water-resistant, and tear-resistant.
