Q: How many pictures can you print before needing to replace the ink, and what kind of ink is required?

A: Hello Skies and Dirt! This printer does not use any ink, rather is uses Zink, zero ink paper in order to print. 10 sheets of paper can be inserted into the printer at a time.

Shipping nightmare
Do not get this item shipped. It did not survive the journey well and it is return to store only. What a hassle. Avoid it.

Don't' buy this bundle!
This review is not about the HP Sprocket, but about the case that is part of the bundle. The whole point in getting the Sprocket is to have a compact printer and the only reason to get the bundle is to have a matching compact bag. The bag that was delivered with my bundle is for a digital SLR and is at least 3 to 4x bigger than it needs to be. To take the bag back, i have to return the all three items and wait for my replacement bundle to be delivered. I recommend buying just the printer and then buy the case separate so you know what you are getting. So ridiculous!!!

Very nice!
Having so much fun printing with the hp sprocket. Simple interface and easy to use editing software make it a delight to use and no trouble at all. Prints your pics in just a few seconds.

Love love this printer
This is actually a really good printer. I'm surprised by the quality of the picture. I'm working on my plant journal and the picture printed beautifully. Would buy again. Have a lot of projects in store for this little thing.
