My husband and I got this game as a winter date night and we loved it! For 2 adults with decent problem solving skills it took us 6 hours in total and it was extremely engaging the entire time. The only issue we had was the lock on one of the items was off by a digit; this threw us off. Even still, we had a great time! We would recommend this to anyone; we will circulating it amongst our friends and family!

We did this mystery in one day with a group of 5: two parents (early 40s), two teenagers (16 and 13), and one grandparent (late 60s). We started it a little after 4 pm, took a break in the middle to make and eat dinner, and solved it a little before 11 pm. It was a blast. The kids had fun even though it was a winery theme; only a few clues were made easier by a basic understanding of how wine works. I agree with the previous reviewer that the shredded documents took a long time - I strongly recommend using a corkboard and small pins to secure the pieces. Thankfully, since we had a group of people, we were able to assign the task to one person while everyone else looked at other clues. Materials I'd recommend having on hand for this: scrap paper (at least some lined) pencils post-it notes (and a large surface to arrange and rearrange them - a wall, part of a table, I used the glass doors of a bookshelf, etc.) sharpies a bulletin board with lots of small pins coasters to avoid getting glass sweat on the clues a large table for spreading out clues It was easy to repackage everything so we can pass this on to friends to enjoy, that always helps me justify the larger cost for a one-time-use game.

I thought this would be good. Looked promising and we were looking for something much more difficult after the rodeo one. The length 4-6 hours is because you have to do so. much. reading. SO MUCH. And two of the activities were a headache. The hints were helpful and each one provided little by little so it helped lead you to the answer without spoiling too much. It's more busy work than a fulfilling murder mystery game. Can't believe they sell this for $60-70 on their actual website! Ok I'm gonna go and say there were 2 sheets of shredded paper that were really hard to put together because they were folded halfway before being "shredded" & because it was $50 i didn't want to ruin the props by taping it because i could give it to someone else to use later on.
