IAMS Proactive Health Weight Control and Hairball Care with Chicken and Turkey Flavor Indoor Dry Cat Food - 22lbs

I have three cats and they love this dry. It is reasonably priced. My cats are very fussy and they clean their dishes empty. Don't be afraid to buy for your animals.

Let me start by saying I've only fed my cat Iams. I've tried a couple of types but once I found Proactive Health I was excited. How ever I believe this formula is giving her gas & causing more frequent BM. Has anyone else experienced this??

The food is of very decent quality, small to medium sized granules. The food contains the necessary vitamins and microelements. For the money, this food is simply a godsend; the Bengal cat eats it with pleasure. effective food, I would like a zip lock on the package.

Oliver (my cat) loves iams he started with the kitten food and is now eating this one. He loves it, the ingredients aren’t half bad and he has had ONE hairball ever.

Only one my picky cat eats. This really helps his fur and hairball issues. Prior to this, he had a lot of issues with that. The ingredients are good, as meat is the first ingredient.

We bought the chicken and turkey bag about 10 days ago for our three cats. Immediately after our elderly 15 year old cat ate some of this, she started vomiting consistently, then lost her appetite and refused to eat or drink any liquids. She became lethargic, had trouble walking around, couldn’t make it to her litter box anymore, and ultimately became catatonic and was put down. Our other two cats, who are 9 and 1, also ate some of this. They started vomiting shortly after as well. We swapped out the food for something else, and they’re doing much better now. This is completely negligent and irresponsible for a company to continue marketing a product that has induced known and sometimes life threatening and catastrophic health issues witnessed by numerous cat owners dating all the way back to 2018. I have cross-checked reviews for this product on other resellers’ sites, and people are reporting the same things about their cats: refusal to eat, diarrhea, vomiting, and having to visit the vet due to extreme health issues.

My cat loves this food! She’s never had hairballs. And it doesn’t smell gross like some other cat food options. She is pretty chunky but I can’t help over feeding her cute face lol

This food definately has helped my female cat with hair balls. She over grooms and often throws up. I do notice now that maybe this happens once a month compared to it happening almost daily before.

My cat is very picky and rarely eats anything else! She’s always stayed at a perfectly healthy weight while on this food and she has no issues with hairballs at all! She moved over from her kitten food to this one perfectly fine. I recommend!

I received Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight & Hairball Managenent in exchange for an honest review. Well, my great grandkittie loves this food. Obviously for the taste, me... not so much. I like it for the fact that it is vet recommended (also from my vet too). The product is made in the USA from quality ingredients. How could you ask for anything more? Well, it also helps control his weight and there are no fillers in this prodict. I went out and bought other Iams flavors as it is now a new staple in our pet home. Thanks, Iams, for offering great products for the feline in our family.

This is the only cat food my cats really love. The ingredients are good. I have 3 cats and they all love it. We just recently started getting hairballs with one of my cats. My cats weights are good.

I switched over to Iams from a much more pricey brand for hairball control after they changed their formula to have byproducts as their first ingredient. IAMS was half the price of the other brand, but more importantly, it seems to be working better than the previous brand after a month of trying it! Less hairballs and seemingly less constipation for my cat who struggles with this. Their diet is half wet food, but this variety of IAMS seems to be helping! They're a fan of the taste, too! :)
