Q: how are you supposed to fill the shereacle ice tray lid?

A: You fill the bottom tray 100% with water and then place the top tray on top. The excess water will come out of the holes. The top cover is optional in my opinion. You can see videos of this on tik tok. Hope this helps.

I love the design of this ice cube tray. It has several parts that make pouring water into the tray and bin set very easy. It comes with instructions and makes 28 circular cubes in about four hours. It would also be great for flavored ice cubes with juice.

I really like this ice cube tray! The round cubes are fun and the tray and container doesn’t take up much room in my freezer, which is a huge plus. My sister came over and loved them so much she filled a bag and took every cube!

I really like this ice cube tray, bin, and scoop set. Each piece works well on its own. The scoop is handy, the bin is a good size for storing cubes, and the tray itself has a clever design that forms spherical ice balls most of the time. That said, combining the tray and bin can be a bit tricky. To use them together, you have to balance the water-filled tray on top of the bin, which can be awkward. It’s easy to spill water in the process, and that can cause the cubes to freeze together if water gets into the bin below. One small heads-up: the instructions are tucked between the layers of the tray and can be easy to miss. I didn’t notice them until after I had started filling it, and they got wet. So it's a good idea to look for them first. Overall, I like this product and would recommend it. Just be a little careful during setup and you’ll get great results. Received free for review.

I love this design because it is all in one, and it is not too large where it doesnt take up a ton of room in my freezer. It makes cute little round ice, and the scoop is included which is great. I would not depend on this if you have a large family or are hosting, but it is perfect for one or two people if you keep up with refilling the ice tray.

I'm admittedly somewhat of an ice snob. I make trays of ice to put in my water bottle daily but HAVE to have a lid so it doesn't taste freezer-burnt. I honestly thought this ice cube tray that makes ice balls would be a pain to refill and use, but I was wrong. I REALLY enjoy this thing! Aesthetically, the ice balls are SO cute! ...even if I screw up and only get half an ice ball. I love that it came with a scoop so I don't have to grab the ice with my hands. It comes with a lid (yay for me), however, it can be difficult to get it on properly. Overall I really love this ice cube tray/bin/scoop bundle. It makes a decent amount that can be stored in the bin, but the compact design means it doesn't take up too much room in my freezer. Love love love!

I do not have a built in ice maker so I am always making my own, this one is easy, convient and fun! First it's really easy to use, fill it up and freeze it and the ice balls pop out with little effort. I love that it comes with its own container to store the ice in, even has the perfect little scoop to go with it. You ice tray doubles as a lid to keep everything clean. The best part is the ice itself, I love the little balls, it bring a me joy every time I fill my cup and I always get compliments on it when serving guests cocktails on ice!

I will admit that I thought this would be some cheap, gimmicky easy to break thing, but I am glad that it proved me wrong. I actually wish it could make twice as many ice balls because I am not the only one that loves them in our household. They really seem to last longer in the insulated cups because they are so dense and clump together well. Making the ice balls is simple. Just fill to the line and press the top on. Excess water escapes out of the holes at the top of each cell. It sits right on top of the storage bin in the freezer. After a few hours just pop off the top and dump them right into the storage bin and repeat. This kit even comes with a scoop! All in all, if you need to make your own ice cubes or even if you don't, this is a fun and surprisingly useful item for any ice lover.

Honestly, this ice cube tray and bin takes up too much room in our freezer and isn't any more convenient than buying a bag of ice at the grocery store. We found the bin to be more useful as on organizer for our garden plant clips.

I really like this ice bin. At first I thought it was just a bin for the ice, but once you look under the hood, there is an ice tray! I love that the ice is round and very easy to use. Having ice ready for me when I want it is a big plus. The scoop itself is also the perfect size to scoop the ice up out of the bin.

I like it! It’s relatively easy to use. It can get messy because when you put the top of the ice cube mold on, the extra water squirts out. It’s easy to get the ice out of the molds but it is a little tricky to get it in the container. I haven’t mastered being able to just dump them in. Overall, I’m a fan.

I bought this ice cube tray hoping to get perfectly cute spherical ice cubes... and it almost delivers. After over a month of use, I’ve only managed to get about 10 perfect spheres out of the 28 cavities each time. The rest end up as half-spheres or malformed. I've tried everything... filling with cold water, hot water, to the line, past the line, below the line... but my success rate stubbornly stays below 50%. To make things worse, it's a mess to use. Pressing the top half on forces water to squirt out the sides and all over the counter, no matter how careful I am. Here are the trade-offs if you’re tempted by the cute factor: You’ll get about half the usable ice compared to a regular tray It takes twice as long to fill You’ll spend extra time wiping up water splatter The idea is charming, but the execution just isn’t worth the hassle.
