A: Hi. The previous answer is incorrect. These ice cubes aren’t 5 inches in diameter. They are an inch in diameter.

Q: how are you supposed to fill the shereacle ice tray lid?

A: You fill the bottom tray 100% with water and then place the top tray on top. The excess water will come out of the holes. The top cover is optional in my opinion. You can see videos of this on tik tok. Hope this helps.
submitted byG money - 10 months agoA: I poured water using a spouted cup into the bottom tray. I filled it up to the line and then placed the top tray on it. Everything comes apart though.

A: This previous answer is incorrect. It does not make 5 inch cubes (that would be huge). The ice cubes are 1 inch.

this is perfect most ice cube trays do not have a cover for your refrigerator. We make it in our ice cube maker on our counter and throw it into the ice bucket which is covered with a scoop for six dollars as as well worth it would definitely buy again.

Love the concept ... but it's not dishwasher safe. The plastic warped and the lid and top part to put the ice cubes in doesn't fit now after washing it. Hand wash only and air dry. Will buy one more and not wash it anymore. Warning for those that like to dish wash things. Do not or else it melts

The cubes are cute, it's a little clumsy to use, but it usually gets the job done. It was incredibly cheap, so quality isn't to be expected. Unfortunately, it's made of #7 plastic, which is not dishwasher safe and is also a mixed bag of ingredients often including BPA and other sketchy chemicals. #7 not recycleable either, so when your kid accidentally melts it in the dishwasher, it goes into the trash. I wouldn't buy this again.

It’s great for the price. To be honest, I didn’t follow the directions and through it all in the dishwasher. The clear container is hand wash only so it warped a little bit, but not bad. I made my first batch of ice and it was great, just splashes when you pour in water but that can be cleaned up. I love that it comes with a scoop. The container is a great size for personal use in my freezer. Not big enough to stock up for a party or large family. Oh and side note, there are directions in the lid. I didn’t realize that.

There are tiny holes for the water to go in to make “spheres” however , it takes a ridiculous amount of time to fill it and if you overfill it, you get one giant ice brick
