IGK First Class After Dark Tinted Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo - 6.5oz - Ulta Beauty

This dry shampoo is awesome! I have tried so many and I've finally found one that works for me. It gives you full texture and the dark color helps so you don't have a white or dull residue. A bonus is that the color disguised a few grey strands!

I usually buy Batiste dry shampoo but thought I would try a nicer brand and that it would yield nicer results… Batiste is better. This dry shampoo feels stiff, tangles my hair, and makes the hair where I applied it feel crunchy. The only redeeming quality is it leaves no white cast but my day 2 hair looks like day 7 because of the way this dry shampoo sits.

I normally use the clear version with no issues I decided to pick the dark one up and I’ve noticed an increase in hair shedding, my hair feels so thin now

I love the IGK heat protectant so i assumed this would be good… nope. I have thickish brown wavy hair, and i hardly sprayed this on my roots and it has made my hair feel so stiff and knotty i cant even run my fingers through it. For this price they should be ashamed, im better off to stick to my cheapy dry shampoos.

Absolutely hated this dry shampoo. The smell was okay, but it did not address oil in my hair and left the weirdest, grossest straw like texture in my hair. Used each one a few times just to make sure it wasn't a one off thing - it wasn't. Do not recommend.

The scent is fine, it's not too overbearing and is practically nonexistent. Which I appreciate because I don't like to layer scented hair products. I have dark hair so I appreciate the added color. This dry shampoo is for dark hair and has a tint to it. This is vegan. This dry shampoo is made of charcoal powder and 7% activated cleansing powders. This makes this a deeply cleansing dry shampoo hold hairspray at the beginning of my days. All that might help my results after using the dry shampoo (I'm not really sure) but I made sure to maintain my curls the best I could I had plans after my workout.

I appreciate having the brunette option so my hair doesn’t have the white-cast chalky look. It can get a bit messy with your hands so you just shouldn’t play around with it after styling. Overall I would recommend the product and would repurchase again.

I usually use the Not Your Mothers Brand of dry shampoo for dark hair, but when I saw this one by IGK I wanted to try it even though its more expensive, because the product description claims its "transfer proof". Sadly, this is certainly not the case. I used this in the morning, went off to work, 10 hours later came home and laid down, and it ruined a pillow. Tried cleaning off with baby wipes and it would not come off. Would not recommend. The claims about this product are not truthful.

This is my least favorite of the line. It still has a slight white cast even with the dark tint. It also leaves a dark stain on your fingers that needs to be washed off anytime I touch my scalp. It does help keep grease at bay so it is effective but the cons outweigh the pros for me.

I like there is a slight scent but it's not overpowering. The packaging is sleek and professional looking. I never thought of using tinted dry shampoo but I love! It adds depth and texture and I don't have to worry about any white powdery residue. Good buy.

I have been looking for a quality dry shampoo for brunettes, and stumbled upon this. I am thankful I did! I am pleased with it overall - works very well with no white residue, my hair doesn't look powdery, and the smell is nice and not overpowering. I encourage you to try it!

This dry shampoo does a great job at absorbing oil while keeping the scent light and not overwhelming. My hair didn't feel gritty after using it, which is a big plus. However, even though it's formulated for dark hair, the tint is brown, so I had to work it in extra well to blend with my black hair. It's a solid option, but blending takes a bit more effort if your hair is very dark.
