Purpose

Anti-Diarrheal.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms get worse,diarrhea lasts for more than 2 days,you get abdominal swelling or bulging. These may be signs of a serious condition.

Directions

Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea. Find right dose on chart. If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise, use age.

Adults and Children 12 Years and Over

2 caplets after the first loose stool; 1 caplet after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 4 caplets in 24 hours.

Children 9-11 Years (60-95 lbs)

1 caplet after the first loose stool; 1/2 caplet after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 3 caplets in 24 hours.

Children 6-8 Years (48-59 lbs)

1 caplet after the first loose stool; 1/2 caplet after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 2 caplets in 24 hours.

Children 2-5 Years (34 to 47 lbs)

Children Under 2 Years (Up to 33 lbs)

Do not use.

Lousy packaging

The Product itself is good ...if you can get that dang thing out of the package. And don't tell me to call an 800 number to explain. The plastic pack is so tightly sealed, when you are sick you need this right away. Go to the store, pretend you are about to crap down your leg and to open this medication. I have you have to use an exacto knife or scissors to get it to open. Sorry, when someone is sick you shouldn't have to fuss this darn packaging. Your packaging is lame. I sat at my dining room table and opened the remainder cells, which too me about 30 minutes and my fingers got all cut up to get them open. I put the remaining tablets in a single little zip lock bag. I will never buy this brand again. You'd think you would have some sympathy for you customers who are ill. Whoever created that package should be fired.

Poor packaging

The caplet packaging is very difficult to open. There isn’t really a “notch” to tear , there’s just a little line. It takes some work with scissors to release the caplet and once cut the packaging bits are sharp. I do think you might reassess how you package this product

I have incontinent bowl and must take one tablet after each bowel movement. Is there a better way to remove pill other than cutting it out?

You'll miss it if you need it

This is one of those products you should keep on hand because you never know when you'll need it. If you've got a serious medical problem, you need to see a doctor. But for routine upsets, you'll be glad you have this available. It's a must have product for a lot of people going overseas.

Hard to open

I take Imodium all the time and I like the product. BUT it is so very hard getting them punched out. I always have to either use a knife or scissors to get the tablets out. Especially the small 2mg. I’m sure Im not the only one having this problem. Can you try to make it a little easier to get tablets out? Thank you

Great product, nearly impossible to gain access

Imodium works well for me but your packaging department should be sentenced to 30 days hard labor continually opening their Imodium packaging all day. I'm an adult male with strong hands and gave up trying to gain access without scissors. Even with scissors it takes nearly a minute per tablet. Really?

It works for diarrhea

This product was used while on our cruise.vthe caplets come in blister packages that are very easy to open and swallow. The instructions say take 1 caplet and that was enough to cure the diarrhea.

Where's the bottles

The blister packs are so hard to open to get the caplets out. What happened to the bottles of caplets?? Seniors have enough problems taking meds but blister packs are terrible to access. I have to take multiple caplets daily so have to cut open the cards and put the caplets into a bottle for easier access.

Not much to say other than this stuff works if you need to be somewhere and can’t risk it. I do like the gel capsules better. 2npills doesn’t for me and then I can go for a few days. Everyone should keep a pack of these for just in case moments

Effective treatment

Imodium is an effective treatment for diarrhea but it should be considered to be put into a bottle instead of individual tablets for disabled people or people who have a hard time getting the individual tablets out of the packaging.

Need easier packing - PLEASE!!!!!! 🙏

The Imodium works very well. However, if someone has an urgent case of the “Hershey Squirts”, trying to open the “bubble pack” is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! A big mess could easily occur while frantically trying to extract the pill from “Fort Knox” packaging. 😱

This product has saved me more than once! We all have times where a particular meal or illness strikes at an inconvenient — to the point that we’re afraid to leave the house this product works when you need to. Enough said. 🙂

Why do you need a blowtorch to open them?!

I have used your product on and off my entire life. I have also been baffled by the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the caplets out of the foil packaging without a knife or scissors. Why the HECK do you have a product that "When you need it, you NEED it fast..." but the consumer cannot open it without a knife or scissors?!?! The product works well, but not if you can't even access it.

Horrible packaging

The packaging is horrible, actually the worse I've ever had. It's so hard to open. If you need this medication fast your out of luck and better be home so u can actually get it open. You almost need the jaws of life to get it open! There has to be a better way to package this that makes it easier to use. Please CHANGE the packaging so you can actually get it out to take it
