This light is very dim and can only be seen when held next to an object. It does not create enough light to be noticed.

This is not a strobe light the kind tha flashes like a camera flash in a white tone. This is more of a black light. Very small not too bright unless it’s a minuscule space it’s useless. Don’t waste your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed thoughts on this item. It's pretty cheap and a good size for a toddler or adult to hold. There is an on and off shift as well as a dial to control how fast the light flashes. Make sure to have 2 AA batteries on hand as these are not included. I don't think this item was very useful or spectacular. It was fun for a toddler to have and play with but I wouldn't normally purchase this unless rechargeable. The light also didn't seem super bright. I don't think this was worth it. I received an incentive to write this review.

All it requires is three AA batteries and you’re good to go. The light itself has a bunch of different modes so you can control the strobe as you please. It is battery operated with three AA batteries. It does not come with the batteries but they are easy to install. It has an on and off switch and it has an adjustable strobe speed. It only takes 3 aa batteries, which aren’t included by the way, and you can adjust the speed of the strobe from slow to super fast. I thought it was broken when I first tried it but then I realized that there’s an on off switch lol. I haven’t had it very long so I don’t know how long the batteries will last but we’re getting a kick out of it for now. It is a little larger than others that I have, so I am planning to use this in a larger pumpkin that we carve. I took a picture of it next to the candles so that you could get a sense of the size. It takes three batteries. It does not come with batteries, so make sure you have those on hand. There is an off switch as well as a knob that allows you to control how fast the light is flashing. I liked that you could adjust the speed of the strobe light, but it was a concentrated tiny section that the light focused on. Even in a dark room you see a small circle and that is it. I do not recommend if you are looking for a true strobe effect for a room. It could be used to highlight one of your decorations for a spooky effect. The low quality makes sense for the price.

As the description states, it is a strobe light, no option for continuous lighting. There is an on of speed of flash switch. In a particularly lit rooom, this small light will likely not be noticed. But in complete darkness it is a nice effect from a close distance.

Because of its size it doesn’t make a big impact, it flashes light only in a small area. However, it has a knob to switch the strobe speed from low which is very very slow to fast which is more what you typically think of when you think of a strobe light.
