Two birds, one stone - Nice Toasty Toes
Bought as a gift for someone whose feet/legs are always cold under her desk and who should also have feet elevated while sedentary. It is a really basic tool, easy to elevate, and very simple controls. It gives off nice, comfortable heat (used without shoes) on the low setting and not too hot to use for extended time. I think I will buy one for myself.

Warm with minor flaws
The heating element is great in the winter months. My first complaint is that the bottom feet need rubber or something to prevent the stand from moving on any hard surface. I also wish there was an auto-shutoff function.

Great foot warmer!
Just got it and LOVE how warm I've been with it on. Of course you can't wear shoes with this but the high temp is perfect for keeping me toasty since my feet are always cold. The only complaint I have is the strong smell of plastic once out of the box.

It Will Be a Cold Christmas..
It stopped working after a month...right before Christmas!!
I really liked it when it worked. My feet get cold easily and they hurt when it's cold. The footrest warmed up quickly and kept my feet warm.
Thank goodness for Target's generous return policy. Otherwise I will have a piece of junk for Christmas!

It emits awful burning plastic smell, it came with Prop 65 warning and this time for Prop 65 for obvious reasons. This can't be healthy, it made me cough every time I turned it on. I had to return it.

I have only tried the footrest once thus far because "cold feet season" isn't here quite yet, but it warmed my feet quickly and I'm sure I am going to use it daily when cold weather sets in. It is exactly as advertised and I love that it has 3 heat settings. My feet are always cold in the winter when I sit for long periods of time at my art table or at my desk, and this appears to be the perfect solution. I have used a space heater in the past but that doesn't warm the bottoms of my feet like this footrest. The advantages of the footrest over a space heater for me are 1) safer than a space heater with regard to fire hazard, and 2) more economical to run than a space heater, and 3) once my feet are warm, I am pretty much warm all over.

Great option for warm feet!
I bought this for my daughters new office which is freezing! They don’t allow space heaters so she wraps in a heated throw but her feet stayed cold. I was excited to find this but product and she loves it! We’ve been having below zeros temps and she is able to feel the warmth through her boots. She is very pleased and so am I !

Disappointed
I loved the idea of a heated footrest. When I received mine I was very disappointed. The "angled" setup was two small unstable legs that fold out, and the minute I set my feet on it, they collapsed. The slightest pressure causes them to buckle back under.
