Neefs more design improvements
Loved the idea. Item needs more engineering to make it more practical … like folding the shade and improving the plastic connectors which broke the third time shad and bassinet was set up. We returned the item, partially set up it was a broken hot mess.

Ingenuity
Incredibly difficult to assemble, took my husband and I multiple attempts with the canopy. Our bars were mislabeled which was throwing us off. The bassinet itself is great quality.

Less than 3 minutes to set up and that's even with you taking your sweet time
This bassinet really is portable. From right out of the box, you can assemble it in less than 3 minutes for the first time. If you're in a rush, I'm sure you can assemble it in 2 minutes. Everything clicks in place and feels very study for how easy it is to assemble. The bassinet is very spacious so your baby will have plenty of room. My only con is, it's on the heavier side, but that's probably due to how it was design to be quick and portable. It it worth the price? I don't know, i'll let you be the judge of that. To me, if you need to have someone babysit your kid at their house, this thing is designed to be portable for a reason, so I would say yes worth it as I will drop off my newborn to the grandparents here and there.

Poor Quality
The buttons on the bassinet broke off the first time we used it. Not a very good design, if they're off you cannot fold the bassinet back together. Customer service for ingenuity did not help us at all and said to stop using the bassinet. After spending $200 and only being able to use it once. Not worth it.

Indoor - Outdoor Friendly!
Such a great concept! Popped the crib into place in 10 seconds. Building the shade was tedious work but if you can put together a camping tent, then you can manage this... I built it in 30 minutes without looking at instructions. I assume I'll cut that time in half eventually. The pad is decently thick. I was considering buying a topper but I don't think it's necessary. It comes with one fitted sheet, white with little blue stars, it's cute. But finding a spare set was difficult I had to search Amazon.

This is perfect is all the ways! As a 63 yr old grandma I was able to easily pick up at store, carry into my house, put together all by myself then break down by myself! That is a big accomplishment as I am not usually a good instruction reader! This is the simplist yet most efficient design I have seen! Plus it comes with a sheet and shade! What more could you ask for! I am going to be spending some quality time with my loved grandbaby and want quality equipment! Thanks!

Beautiful bassinet but canopy issue.
The bassinet is beautiful nice and big but the only issue I have is the polls for the canopy. The poll bends and is flimsy due to the plastic inside when connecting I guess it was a manufactured issue I’m afraid if someone pulls on it, it could potentially collapse. Over it’s a nice bassinet beside the canopy issue.

Our summer travel crib
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is going to be our go-to portable sleeper/playard this summer. We haven’t had the chance to use this much yet, but I’m anticipating we’re going to use this as our primary portable crib for summer travel and on-the-go naps at the beach, playground, etc. With an older sibling, my youngest has never had the luxury of dedicated naps at home as we’re always on the go. I love the compact and easy to carry design of this system and the added sunshade is a dream. I only wish I’d had this sooner to be able to utilize the bassinet feature!

The top of the play yard is great and gave her shade so that the sun wasn’t beaming on her. Very well constructed and great addition to our outings.

Think of a pack n play, but made specifically for those earlier days when you need a dark & quiet & safe space to lay down your baby! It’s larger than a classic bassinet, which allows for longer use.
