Description
Just relax in your pool, and let the Intex 530 GPH Filter Pump take care of the filtration. This cartridge filter pump is the best little workhorse you'll find to keep your pool sparkling clean.
Designed for all 8-foot, 10-foot, and 12-foot Intex Above Ground Pools, it's also great for Sand-n-Sun, Aqua Leisure and other pools with 1.25-inch diameter hose connections. To install, Just hook up hoses and plug into a 110-120V power outlet. Easy-to-clean, replaceable 29000E type A filter cartridge included.
The GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) feature on the 530 GPH pump provides additional safety and protection. Your pump will shut off automatically if the electrical current is exposed to water. Please note, the previous Intex model 58603E does not include this additional feature.

A: Thank you for your question , this pump works for Intex Easy Set pool models 18 feet and above, Intex Metal/Prism frame pools 16 feet and above, and Intex 20' Oval Prism Frame Pools. I would look for a summer waves pool pump!

Q: The specifications say that it comes with two 1.25" hoses, which would fit my pool inlet/outlet valves. But all the other specs on this filter from other sites, including Intex, says this model fits 1.5" hoses. Can you verify that these are 1.25" hoses?

Had two now, both have either burned up or plastic parts started failing. Ugh, should have definitely gotten a better filter. Will be getting a sand filter for next summer. I have been through 2 of these in a year and a half. Disappointed 😞

never used the pump for the fact that the 8' pool once filled had multiple holes fresh out of the box. tried patching while filling with included patching material included was ineffective! Purchased some Gorilla water proof patching tape which was much more effective but continued to leak. Gave up! trashed the pool and never spent the effort to hook up the pump which is still in box. Water in So. California is too precious and expensive to repetitively to empty, patch and refill.

I have been using this pump for my Polygroup pool for 5 years with zero problems. I bought this pump as a backup to the smaller one the Polygroup came with. I bought a 2nd one of these pumps as a backup and ended up using the 1st for filtering the pool and the 2nd for vacc'ing the pool. Both have performed beautifully. I take good care of the pump, change filters often and am very impressed with this 1500GPH pump.

I live in New York, and use the pump (and pool) from June through September. I havehad the pump for four years and it works great. You just need to replace the filter every 2-3 weeks, but this is not a big deal.

I am building a stock tank pool. I got on the chat to ask about pumps with timers. They said all the pumps have timers and there was no differences between the new models and the older models. I took their word for it and bought this older model and it doesn’t have a timer. I’m disappointed. Haven’t used it yet to see if it moves enough water to keep my 700 gallon tank clean; all the bloggers are using the 1500 or 2500 for their tanks that are the same size. We’ll see how this one goes and I will have to buy the newer model to get one with a timer. Frustrating, I tried to prevent this from happening.

Very lucky if you get 12 months, we certainly didn’t. In the cheapest filters (they are terrible as well) intex use metal crank shaft rods.. so why use plastic crank shaft rods in the dearer ranges? Because they’re made to break of course!.. So I pulled apart one of the three broken smaller ranges (that come with the pools) and swapped the metal rod with the broken plastic one and was pretty proud I got life back into it, only for two days later for the power chord to malfunction. It’s a pool filter.. it just sits there. Shouldn’t be too hard to make a durable product. Beyond disappointed in your not fit for purpose products across all ranges of your brand.

Cheap pump, no extra parts come with this pump after it takes a crap within 6 months. And waiting for replacement parts for this pump in peak summer will turn your pool green! So get ready to waste a bunch of money on chemicals! This pump makes me regret every purchasing a pool!
