Jade Leaf Matcha Organic Cafe Style Strawberry Flavored Matcha Latte Mix - 3.5oz

I was initially enthusiastic about the introduction of a strawberry-flavored matcha product; however, the flavor profile leaned heavily towards artificial flavoring.

I’ve been getting matches blended with strawberries in coffee shops and I love this it actually doesn’t taste too artificial at all, I use with oat milk and it comes out the perfect creamy- I’m going to keep buying this ! Other mixes I’ve bought are too strong matcha taste and come out watery.

This is a good sized package, with easy instructions. You don't need to use much powder at a time either. However, the texture was weird and the strawberry was strong but artificial flavored. I wasn't a fan.

DOESN’T TASTE LIKE MATCHA!!! I should have known it was too good to be true. The color is horrible. It only tasted like artificial strawberry flavor. It’s actually nasty and it has a horrible aftertaste. Hope this helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used about 2.5 tsps and 2% milk and it was creamy but refreshing. The strawberry flavor is a little bit artificial but not extremely. It is also pretty sweet but I thought it was pretty good and I will continue to use.

The flavor was more bitter than I expected, and it lacked the smooth, vibrant taste I look for in a good matcha. The color also wasn’t as bright as I’d hoped, which made me question the freshness. I tried it a few different ways—hot, iced, even in lattes—but just couldn’t get into it. It might work for others, especially in recipes, but as a daily drink, it just wasn’t a match(a) for me.

Well packaged and the ziplock is nice. Very smooth couldn’t feel any texture to it when drinking I went with the iced option and will have to go back to try the hot.

This one I’m not sure if I will repurchase this specific flavor or not. It has a typical earthy/grassy flavor, but it’s a little more muted than a typical standard straight matcha only drink. The strawberry flavor is sort of there, but more so just adds an overall sweetness to the drink, which is what I think helps mute the earthy/grassy matcha flavor. After mixing everything, the flavor is more enjoyable when you let it sit for about 5 minutes. It does leave a slight milky filmy texture on the roof of the mouth, so if you have issues with texture things like that, maybe avoid. I have not tried this warm, as I do not ever like warm matcha drinks, so I can’t speak to how the flavor is with that. Not a fan of the filmy texture, not sure if I would repurchase this specific flavor, but I would try some other flavors, if there are other ones.

The packaging is super cute. The taste is not as strong but I will say the smell is amazing. I love the addition of the strawberries.

It leans more on the sweet side, so if you're used to traditional, unsweetened matcha, this feels more like a treat or dessert drink. I like it iced with oat or unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Refreshing and hits the craving for something on the sweeter side. I gave it four stars because I wish the strawberry flavor tasted a little stronger or different, maybe? It’s still good, just slightly artificial or off to my tastebuds in the aftertaste. Honestly, I might just be weird, lol. Overall, a fun and easy option for matcha lovers looking to mix things up.

I loved the strawberry flavor with the matcha. The packaging was easy to open and close and I didn’t spill it everywhere so I loved that !
