Durable, quality sound and reasonably priced!
Bought this for birthday gift for my daughter, so wasn’t looking to spend too much. excellent sound quality for a reasonable price. Holds charge well so far and looks great too. Perfect middle range speaker: Have previously bough Bose, Ultimate ears and Sonos, this did not disappoint!

Pretty Good
I bought it and used it at the beach. It's pretty loud which I was happy about (loud enough for our decently sized group without being too loud for the people around us). It died from full charge after 5ish hours which kind of sucked.

Great Purchase
i bought this a month ago for my car as it doesn't have aux and it is amazing the sound quality is great and so is the battery life. Its so easy to connect to and use, the app you can download with it is so good and includes good features. for the money you can get a better portable speaker

Disappointed
I was initially very excited for these speakers. I initially purchased one and loved it so I purchased a second one so I could use it in stereo mode which is great sounds fantastic. However they are marketing it as waterproof and durable however, even with extremely careful use the JBL emblem on the front is very delicate and the paint comes off despite treating the speakers with extreme care. For something that’s advertised as being rugged I’m not sure if that’s true.

JBL Charge Blue - Quality Sound
Bought this a few weeks ago and I'm not disappointed. Easy to pair with bluetooth. Sound Quality is excellent for its size with good clarity and deep but tight base.

I absolutely love the jbl speaker I created. I bought the jbl charge 6 and got to make it look a way that I wanted. Sound wise it sounds really good and goes loud. It has a handle to hold it and take it places. I definitely recommend getting one. 💯

We bought this to enhance the sound from our TV, while watching outside in our garden, as I have the JBL sound system in my car. Well we can certainly hear it over the noise from the road. So easy to join the technology together. Highly recommend. We bought the purple one.

Great Sound, Weak Battery Life
I recently used the JBL Charge 6 Bluetooth speaker during both half marathons and the London Marathon, and overall I was very impressed with the product. The build quality feels excellent, it is durable, easy to carry, and the sound quality is outstanding even outdoors and in busy race environments. The volume and bass performance were particularly impressive during long runs. However, my main issue was with the battery life. When used at full volume for approximately 3 hours, the battery dropped from 100% to around 10%. During longer running events I had to use the speaker more sparingly to make sure I still had music later in the race. The marketing material states the speaker can provide “up to 24 hours on a standard charge, plus up to 4 extra hours using the Playtime Boost feature”, but in my experience this was not achievable under real-world usage conditions at higher volumes. Overall, the JBL Charge 6 is a fantastic sounding and well-built speaker, but the battery performance did not meet my expectations based on the advertised figures.

I’m from Sri Lanka. I bought mine in September last year. And I had no issues with it at all. But after a month, when I plugged it into charge, always after around half an hour, it starts to beep. Like that warning beeping. But there were nothing there inside the charging port and in the cable. I have never put this into water. Even after a day, it did the same. I usually charge it like twice a month. And after 3 days of happening this, I switched my cable to a better cable. Even with that, same happened. The charger I was using was a Samsung 25W PD charger. Then I tried different cables, different chargers , different outlets even different houses. But it was the same. And then somewhere around October, it stopped beeping but it started charging very very slowly. So now it takes a full day to me to get it fully charged. To be exact, it takes around 10 minutes to charge 1% of the battery. The store I bought this refuses to let me claim my warranty. So I couldn’t do anything. I cannot give this to a local repair shop as most of them are not trustworthy. Because, last time I repaired my JBL headphones, after the repair, the sound was so muffled. Could you please help me with this JBL?

Make including charger cords mandatory again
Bought today and doesn’t include a charger cable, I don’t have a spare so I now have to go fork out more money after saving for a couple weeks to afford the speaker. Will be the last jbl product I ever buy.

Best speaker I’ve ever owned!!!
This is by far the best Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned! I’ve had a lot of different UE speakers that I thought were great until I got my hands on this beautiful purple Charge 6. Checks all the marks for a Bluetooth speaker. Durability? Check! Portability? Check! Well-made/designed? Check! Battery life? Check! And most importantly…sound quality? Check plus!! I’m absolutely in LOVE with this speaker I really am. I have no idea how JBL is gonna top this with the next addition to the “Charge” series but I can’t wait to find out lol

Perfect speaker for its size!
Excels in all departments for its size. Battery is brilliant, power is great for its size, durability is great although I’m going to be treating it well anyway. Volume is high with better bass at top end. Portability isn’t an issue at this size and realistically could be slightly bigger if needed a larger enclosure etc. Connectivity is great with the latest Bluetooth standard. And most importantly for me, the bass is more than adequate, although I hope in future we can push for better bass response from the charge series and if needed increasing the enclosure size slightly. Improvements to max volume bass roll off and lowest frequency response is welcomed in future.

Great product! Poor software support w/ pairing
Great product as usual JBL! You guys make great speakers! Unfortunately the downfall with these newer JBL products is the connectivity/sync function with older JBL speakers is nonexistent!!! Quite disappointing for a company that maintains a good reputation. If you don’t have 2 JBL speakers with the same sync protocol it seems like you’re out of luck, regardless if you update the firmware or download the app. I expected better from you JBL. To further explain my problem, I have a new charge 6 and I cannot sync it to play with my JBL Boombox 2. It seems it’s not possible whatsoever. Quite frustrating
