I received an advance copy of this amazing book. It is a wonderful addition to the Baby Believers series by Danielle. I love how this books uses the Bible and the miracles of Jesus to talk about body parts to young children. When I read this book to my 3 daughters (twin 2.5 year olds and a 9 month old), my older two will point out the body parts on one another. It is an additional resource I can use to teach them about our faith and how amazing our Father and Jesus is. The colors are fantastic and the draws are perfect for little ones to comprehend. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a simple and easy way to add more faith-based learning into their child(ren)'s life.

Like the others books in the baby believer primers this one is a must have. The artwork and colors are so rich and beautiful, catching and keeping my little one's attention and it is so fun to see my older one's eyes light up when she is learning something new (body parts, emotions, etc.) and it connects with the stories we read in the Bible and the scriptures on the page of these books. They are helping her learn and most importantly bringing the Bible to life for my babies!

We absolutely love the Baby Believer series of books! Jesus Heals is no exception. I was so excited to add this to our collection and our boys have loved it just like the others. It equally captivates my 3.5 year old and 18 month old with the breathtaking illustrations. The content is age appropriate, engaging and biblically focused. The board book material is sturdy and perfect for the little hands constantly wanting to touch and flip through the pages. We love you, Baby Believer books...our only complaint is that we are already ready for more because we love them so much!!

I recommend this book whole-heartedly! 'Jesus Heals' is part of the 'Baby Believer' series, and we own every single book in this series. Adding this one to our collection was a no-brainer. These theologically sound books are perfect for little ones, because they teach them about Jesus, keep their attention(!) and the artwork and colors are beautiful. The quality of these books is better than any other board book in our library, and even our 'older' Baby Believer books have stood the test of time. This particular book teaches about the healing power of Jesus, while also teaching children about basic anatomy. If you want to celebrate Jesus every day with your little ones, 'Baby Believer' books are the way to do it; and 'Jesus Heals' is a favorite in our house!

Another wonderful baby believer book! These are my go to books to teach my Little’s about Jesus. The illustrations are beautiful, as usual! I love how these books take complex subjects and simplify them so anyone can understand. And what a wonderful way to teach my girls about body parts and the amazing miracles Jesus has performed. I highly recommend these books!

The Baby Believer series from Catechesis Books has quickly become my favorite gospel centered books to share with my little guy. We were very excited to receive and advanced copy of this gorgeous book.
Jesus Heals has everything we've come to expect from the amazing duo of Danielle Hitchen and Jess Blanchard. It is biblically accurate, toddler focused, and impeccably illustrated.
Jesus Heals is both the story of the miraculous physical healings of Jesus and an anatomy primer for pipsqueaks. We are constantly asking our babes to point out their body parts. We talk about them when getting dressed and looking in the mirror. Jesus Heals gives parents a natural and intuitive way to disciple their children during everyday life.
The Baby Believer series are on rotation here for bedtime, story time, and a big favorite for our church bag each week. Jesus Heals is a perfect addition to our growing collection. You should definitely grab a copy for your library.

These baby believer books are some of my favorite books for my girls! It is hard to find books for toddlers so focused on the gospel and different from what's already out there. These are unique but classic, the type of books you want for your kids but usually can't find. They meet a need to have more resources that engage kids from the youngest readers. I love the illustrations, too--they're beautiful!

Danielle Hitchen does it again! Another wonderful Baby Believer book to add to our collection. My girls love these books, the illustrations and the interactiveness of finding each body part. They are memorizing scripture just from us reading these books so often! Jesus Heals teaches body parts along with scripture pointing your children back to Christ. Each page introduces a new body part and gives an example in scripture of how Jesus has headed it. The book concludes with how we have been healed by his wounds. We can’t say enough good things about Jesus Heals and can’t wait for the next book in the series.

The Baby Believer series is our favorite board book series in our home; the series is also our favorite to gift to expecting parents. Jesus Heals is presently my daughter’s favorite book of them all. As a toddler, she is learning to identify parts of the body and loves the beautiful images and colors and I love reading about Jesus to her. The Baby Believer series as a whole is so intelligently designed and is a great investment for learning about Jesus and the gospel. The primers make it easy to apply biblical truths to a young child’s daily life— anatomy, counting, movement, opposites, etc. I’ve found that many children’s books are loud and busy, but the Baby Believer series is artistic in a way that keeps us coming back to find new truths and new things to love about Jesus! These books haven’t collected dust yet and will be in our home library for years to come. This series is truly a treasure for our family.

From cover to cover, this book is a work of art! As a mom of 6 kiddos, books are well-loved and it shows in my home. Therefore, my toddler hard-cover books get pretty tattered. I loved this book at first touch because it is sturdy and thick, and a bit larger than most. The artwork is captivating, with bright colors that draw the reader's attention to the story. Most importantly, I love this book because it keeps Jesus central as the One who heals not only diseases but heals us of our deepest problem: sin. Not only is a toddler learning about body parts and pieces of stories with actual verses to read, but learning deep truths about the Bible and our great God. This is the book I want to keep in my home and gift to all my mama friends having babies.

Jesus Heals: An Anatomy Primer is a board book that is carefully crafted to teach little minds biblical truth. Written for even the youngest child, individual parts of the body are taught throughout and beautifully woven with Scripture that uses that specific body part in the Bible. The illustrations are wonderfully done-very colorful and engaging, and this book is a great way to teach your young ones through interactive anatomy recognition along with learning stories and passages from the Bible that highlight each part of the body. My two daughters, ages 2 and 4, were captivated from the first page and engaged until the very end. The content is theologically rich but simple enough for a variety of ages to understand. As my children grow older, I can envision continuing to read this book and extending on its concepts. I would highly recommend this book, as well as any other books in the Baby Believer series, as we have all of them at home and enjoy reading them all again and again! I received Jesus Heals compliments of Harvest House Publishers in exchange for my honest review.

‘Jesus Heals’ is yet another genius children’s book in the Baby Believer series. I absolutely adore that this books gives me an opportunity to walk through the gospel with my children in such an elementary way. Sharing the gospel doesn’t need to be complicated, and ‘Jesus Heals’ reminds us of that. My kids really love pointing out the body parts on their own bodies, and I love that we can talk about the miracles of Jesus. With scripture on every page, you can be confident your children are hearing truth. The illustrations are engaging and captivating, and uniform throughout the series.
I highly recommend ‘Jesus Heals,’ as well as every single book in the series, for every home. You will be amazed at the joy they bring your children as they act out the prompts, learn animals, count to ten, know body parts, recognize opposites, and become familiar with their emotions. Get this book. Get them all!

The newest book of the baby believer series does not disappoint. This introduction to the human anatomy is simple and bright. I love that it has something to offer each of my children (4, 3, 1). The beautiful illustration for my youngest as we point out the same parts on his body, the review in anatomy and sight word recognition for my older two, and the beautiful way it tells of the miracles Jesus performed during His ministry here on Earth. My most favorite part of the book is the way that each bodily healing is used to lead up to our ultimate spiritual healing by God giving up His only Son on the cross so that we can have eternity with Him in heaven. Everything should and does point to the One who gave it all.

Catechesis Books delivers again! We own all of the previous books in the Baby Believer series and love them ALL. Each time a new one comes out, I wonder if they can make another book as good as the last, and they always do! These books are always beautiful and filled to the brim with scripture. The newest book in the series, Jesus Heals is yet another must have book for your home library. I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old and the book was put together so well that they are both able to enjoy it. My 5 month old son loves the vivid colors and my 3 year old daughter points out the body parts to him and then I read the scripture to them both. Now anytime my daughter gets a boo-boo she talks about how Jesus will heal her. It makes my heart so happy so that at such a young age she is already learning that Jesus has the power to heal! These books are shaping little one’s lives and now I recommend them to everyone I know!

This book is simple, powerful, and a joy to read. It lifts my spirit to read this compilation of Jesus' healing miracles because it reminds me of Jesus' compassion for our physical and spiritual selves and his power to do miraculous things in us. I especially love that the last page quotes 1 Peter 2:24 "Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right. And we are healed because of his wounds." This reminder of our ultimate hope as Christians really makes this book one I will keep coming back to. Baby Believer books take topics from the Bible and combine them with a "primer" topic which makes them interactive and more accessible for children.Even though the ideas are deep, they made approachable through the "primer" concept, so there are multiple levels of understanding and conversation that can be had. I look forward to seeing my baby grow up with books like this to read with him. This is my second Baby Believer book - I want to collect them all! I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Jesus Heals is a perfect addition to the collection of Baby Believer books! We have them all and love to use each of them during our family bible time. My kids are 3 & 18 months and the books are perfect for each of them to learn new things differently, yet together.
Jesus Heals goes through different miracles done by Jesus with beautiful artwork, and the most important thing for our young ones - SCRIPTURE! One of my favorite things about this book is how it only has scripture in it. It is so important that we point our little ones to the Word of God no matter how young, and this is a great way to start.
I loved this book and the rest of the Baby Believer books and I recommend them to everyone!

My kids love how interactive this book can be - we can point to the body parts referenced - and I love how it incorporates Scripture into our hearts and lives. The final page is "Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right. We are healed because of his wounds" (1 Peter 2:24). WHOA, what a great way to transition to talking about the gospel. I love these books and recommend them as an investment into your child's spiritual formation! I am in love with the art as well - the colors and style are just gorgeous (swipe through to see a preview). I'm so grateful to be a part of the launch team and to received an early copy of this book.

When I first discovered the Baby Believer series I was delighted! Our family loves to read and this series has been a wonderful tool to teach our kids about theology and basic concepts, all at the same time! They are treasured books and have become our go to for baby shower gifts, filling the bookshelves in our Sunday school classroom, and sharing with other families who would enjoy them. We haven’t found another series that compares, and are so thankful for Danielle using her gift to bless us with these books!
I was so excited for the release of Jesus Heals, and it was another fantastic addition to our bookshelf. This book teaches about the miracles of Jesus while your children simultaneously learn different parts of the body. There is scripture on each page, with the book ending in the beautiful reminder that Jesus has healed us all with His wounds.
Not only is Jesus Heals beautifully written, but the illustrations (as always) are absolutely gorgeous and captivating for little ones. The book itself is sturdy, and great for tucking in a diaper bag or for on the go. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!
