A: Hi Amanda, definitely use the Pop around the pool or the shower! We have an IPX5 rating on these, so as long as they aren't fully submerged under water, you'll be totally fine! Enjoy!

What this means: -IPX5 water resistance means the speaker is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. -It can handle splashes and light rain, making it suitable for outdoor use where it might get wet. However, this does NOT mean it can be fully submerged in water. Therefore: -You can use the JLab Pop Party speaker in the shower, but you should be careful to avoid prolonged exposure to direct streams of water. -You should not use the JLab Pop Party speaker in a pool as it's not designed to be submerged.
