Crafted from hand-selected Northern hard rock maple wood, this chopping board exemplifies environmental responsibility and quality craftsmanship. The cutting board features a reversible design, so you can use both sides when cutting various foods. For added versatility, you can even use the butcher block as a serving piece for fruits, cheeses, and more. What's more, the thin profile and portability make them ideal for easy storing and maneuvering.
The board comes with a cream finish with beeswax that seals and protects the cutting board. Featuring a natural look with a rounded edge design will make this cutting board stand out from ordinary wood or plastic boards. When finished meal prepping, simply hand wash with soap and cool water to clean.
The solid construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. After you're finished using the cutting board, easily wash by hand. Occasionally use John Boos Mystery Oil and Board Cream (sold separately) to seal the wood surface and help maintain the impressive grain and natural golden coloration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cutting board, nice and durable, great size. I like that it's not too heavy or cumbersome. Maintenance on it is the same as any other wood cutting board, it takes a little bit but is well worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the 16” cutting board is perfect for cutting multiple veggies or some poultry. The thickness shows how durable it is and it’s easy to store. The wood is so pretty. Maintenance is a lot though with having to oil it once a month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great wood cutting board! It has a timeless design that I think would look nice in any kitchen. It has a good weight to it, but is light enough that it’s easy to maneuver around the kitchen. I plan to use this mainly for slicing bread, but I can also see myself using it display snacks when I have people over. I would definitely recommend, and will be looking at additional products from this brand as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Boos is one of the legendary brands in the kitchen. I'm glad that I finally got one. So fancy! I prefer wood boards for most things. Food doesn't slide around and they're easier on your knives (I still use a plastic board for raw meats). This is a solid, well made cutting board. It should last a long time with proper care and maintenance (hand washing and consistent re-oiling and waxing!). The board was fairly dry when I recieved it. Luckily I also got the John Boos maintenance kit which includes mineral oil, board cream, and an applicator sponge. I seasoned it for a few days until it wouldn't hold any more oil before using it for the first time. It's a good size for most uses. Could be a little thicker, but that would also make it heavier and more cumbersome. You can't go wrong with this cutting board.

Strong and sturdy cutting board
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a Boo's chopping block, because of rumors that it's one of the best boards out there. I was excited when I got my board, along with the care kit. I've never had a cutting board that needed maintenance before using, but I've found that it is crucial. To prevent the board to Crack and break, your have to wax the board and then seal it with the lotion. I've heard horror stories of other peoples boards splitting because of not prepping the board. Overall the chopping block is great! It's big, sturdy, and doesn't move around when I'm cutting food on top of it. I think my only con to this lovable chopping block is that because it is so heavy, it makes washing it off in the sink a more difficult task. If you properly care for this cutting board and treat it right, it will last you a very long time!

Best All Around Cutting Board
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size, durability and perfect thickness to handle tough jobs but still be ready for a beautiful presentation. My wife and I enjoy this one a little too much. We even already said one side belongs to me for grilling and the other side for her to make her charcuterie board! Actually works out well. We packed this for our family trip during Memorial Day weekend, and within minutes she had this ready for our guests when they arrived. It does come with lubricants to maintain and ensure the lifetime of this board so make sure to read your instructions. Every household should have one.

Chop-N-Slice Board (Model # 214)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid hard maple edge grain constructed cutting board. Prior to using you'll have to oil it with Boos Block food grade mineral oil and finish with their Boos Block board cream. Suggested to treat once a month and if using more frequently treat it more. It's reversible so you have more space to use while cutting/chopping things. Natural wood gives so this board is great for your knives. I use a damp towel under it to prevent it slipping and sliding on counter top. It measures 20" long, 15" wide, and 1-1/4" thick, with rounded corners. Never submerge your wooden cutting boards in water, just wipe it down and let it air dry. I love that it's made in the U.S.A. and is top quality. Looks great in my kitchen and will last a long time.

This cutting board has been amazing as it is very attractive sitting out around your kitchen and is very big to where you can chop up large vegetables or hunks of meat without any issues. I also use this cutting board to sit out hors d’oeuvres like cheeses and sliced meats when we have guests over. I have gotten many comments about how good it looks sitting out and it complements any decoration in your kitchen. You do have to maintain your board with proper care to have it last a long time and look good but it’s a small price to pay to have a nice piece of wood like this in your kitchen. All around I’d give it a 10 out of 10 and would recommend to all my family and friends when they need a cutting board.

Block is made from a beautiful hardwood. Quality, renewable and sustainable preserves the edges of your knives. It's perfect for cutting up my vegetables and meats etc. Comes with a Boos Lock Butcher Block maintenance kit. To replenish, restore, protect the cutting board. Safe to use on all wood surfaces for food preparation. Use only 1 time a month. I definitely would recommend these product's.
