A: Great question! On all Joie car seats, including the Chili Spin 360, you must be able to slide a piece of paper between the product and the front seat; no touching is allowed.

A: Thank you for your question. While the purpose of the Chili Spin SI car seat is the same as the Chili Spin 360, and they are both safe to purchase and use, some structural differences in Chili Spin SI enable it to meet the federal side impact standards, such as the side impact protection pods

A: Great question! The main difference between Chili Spin 360 and Chili Spin SI is that Chili Spin SI is tested to the newest federal safety standards, FMVSS 213a & 213b. Chili spin 360 is still safe to use/purchase and is tested rigorously.

I bought this seat after getting into an accident. I choose the Chili Spin 360 si & I couldn’t be happier. The swivel feature makes buckling in so easy, it feels very sturdy and safe, and my little one is super comfortable. The side impact pads do make the seat a little tighter fit but no complaints from my son. I love the evergreen color and it was a little difficult to install but once installed it’s perfect.
