DO NOT buy. If i could give it a negative 100 I would. I have never been so dissapointed at Nintendo and/or Target as i have been with this purchase. This is a scam and should be pulled off the shelfs. This doesnt work it and the software crashes. I have not been able to run 1 song yet, even with multple calls to nintento customer service and installing and reinstalling multiple times. We should ALL get a refund since this product does not work.

You will always finish a dance bc it doesn't crash on EVERY SINGLE DANCE and you don't have to start completely over. At first we thought it was not a like but my kids have not yet finished ONE dance with it crashing. All software not up to date. I should not have read reviews and Reddit. Everyone has no issue but everyone has solution.

As others have already stated, there is no physical game card in the case. I was not able to return this product at Target because, by the time I realized that the game was not actually physically inside, I had already opened it. They said that they could not be confident I had not already used the code, so it was not eligible for return. Either don't buy or make sure you have sufficient storage on your Switch.

I bought this for my 6 year old , in hopes that it would be like the Wii version I had as a kid. It was too much to get the game to actually work you even have to create a account under some other app just to play ! Song selection is trash ! I don't even know how to even return to the store since it's just a code on a paper. So disappointing !

Dont buy this version
I have previously purchased 2019 and 2022 versions of this game. I still have a subscription to the Unlimited package which gives me access to all songs from previous versions, but that subscription doesn’t apply to this 2024 version. I tested the free trial of Dance+ available for this version, and it doesn’t seem to have the full catalog of songs from years previous. I also can’t figure out how to make a personal playlist, so between every song I have to search for the next song from the beginning of the menu. And as other reviewers have mentioned, this is very glitchy. I’m sticking with my 2022 version.

It seems like they struggled in the creative department. The old version was much better on disc. At least there was less confusion about which songs are on the game. It was lackluster on the moves... probably because they used the same dancers over and over. Syles & techniques are about the same in all dance alongs. I like the unique cultures, and genre presented,that was the high point... they were wickedly low on fun kids' songs... there should have been at least 12 songs out of the 40 stated to be on this edition. 3 or 4 Disney, you buy the rest... a few more boring ones that my kid overlooks... You earn or spend more money for extra songs and avatars, simple emojis for online competitive play... I care little for that. I was just interested in new songs from the current year... they failed

Got it as a late Xmas gift from my boyfriend and it’s just trash first new j.d since jd2019 and I rather go back to that one! All the good songs are for just dance plus, dancing is to fast compared to others, and so much more confusing also the code didn’t work and the app barely works!

So few options - all of the best "fun" songs are for Dance+ or whatever, and it loads only sporadically for those that are available. Thank goodness we got it on sale!!!

Bought on sale for $20 to keep us entertained for snow day. Easy to download and connect multiple joy cons. Yes, you do need to make an Ubisoft account but it’s a breeze. Not sure what all the low rating and issues are about…User error maybe. Recommend!
