Before the recipe change in 2025, this cereal used to be my absolute favorite. It had fiber, protein and tasted delicious. Now it tastes stale, lacks flavor, and seems hard rather than crunchy. PLEASE bring back the old recipe.

New recipe is dramatically different and terrible compared to the previous recipe. I ate Kashi Go Lean for every meal for four months, lost 35 pounds. Consumed three boxes every week, so I’d place myself as an expert on the peanut butter, chocolate, and honey almond versions. The previous recipe was AMAZING. Peanut butter version had chunks of peanut butter whole oats, and tiny pieces of peanuts. Chocolate version had whole oats and chocolate squares. Each spoonful would taste slightly different, adding variety. Now, it’s mostly puffed pieces, and the whole box tastes homogenous. Instead of little chocolate pieces, the whole box of chocolate cereal is LIGHTLY covered in bland chocolate-like something. The peanut butter version no longer tastes like peanut butter. And the honey almond just version looks and tastes like over-cooked caramel. Huge loss. It’s now “20% more”, but that just means 20% more of substandard cereal. I’d rather have 20% less of the previous version. Why change something that was perfect?

New recipe is inedible with gravel-like chunks and zero flavor. Old recipe was delicious. Kellogg’s has the majority of 5 star reviews as incentivized reviewers. Beware!

I love the peanut butter taste. I have some daily in low cal yogurt!!

Finally a great tasting fiber cereal Doesn’t taste like cardboard

I would not buy Kashi Go Peanut Butter cereal again. It tastes good at first and then it loses its appeal.

This cereal helps me tremendously with deciding on what to eat for breakfast since I'm on Zepbound medication trying to lose weight and still eat healthy! Peanut Butter Crunch is soooooo good and satisfying and helps with my daily protein and fiber count. Thank you for such an amazing cereal!!

This cereal was my HOLY GRAIL, my tried and true, my #1, my first love! I would rave of this cereal to friends and family and always have it stocked in my home. Until one dark, sad, upsetting day. They changed the recipe!!! Not the same and old reliable :( I don’t know why they would change anything! Don’t fix what’s not broken. I still buy it here and there because it’s hard to find a healthier cereal but the hunt continues.

I absolutely love the peanut butter crunch cereal, but the last few boxes have had giant pieces that are incredibly hard and completely inedible. Thank goodness I haven’t yet broken a tooth. Please Kashi, do better.

Super scrumptious! It may be a bit rough, but it’s excellent for what it’s worth! This cereal is what got me into Kashi, and every single cereal has always have me come back for more that I could devour the same flavor every day! Keep up the good work!

Bring back old recipe! Where is the pb? This used to be my favorite cereal! Don’t pay attention to paid reviews.

HUGE mistake to change the formula for their most delicious products. Don’t buy anything by them and hopefully they’ll change it back.

Taste really good. I eat it dry like trail mix. I don't think it's hard either. Great way to get protein and fiber!
