Kodiak Protein-Packed Flapjack & Waffle Mix Buttermilk - 20oz

Tried to give these a chance the second time. Someone else mentioned them burning on the outside and leaving raw in the center and that has been my experience so far. The texture and flavor are really hard to get past. I thought they’d be similar to the Kodiak cubs and they taste nothing alike. Maybe I need to alter something.

I agree that this flavor is bland but it’s a great base. Never tried making actual pancakes, I eat this as a mug cake before working out and add my own mini chocolate chips, banana or blueberries. 1/2 cup dry mix and 1/4 cup of water, stir, microwave for 1 min (sometimes 1:10). I like having a breakfast option that’s quick and easy.

I feel like this is one of those you like it or you don’t situations. This is the third flavor we’ve tried and we’ve decided it’s just not for our family. Obviously it’s not the manufacture’s fault for our taste buds so I don’t feel right giving it lower stars. I did take one off because like so many mentioned it wouldn’t cook evenly (pancakes are a staple in our house so I promise it wasn’t user error haha). The texture because of the protein I’m assuming is a little odd which is part of why I didn’t care for it. My kids aren’t picky and only ate one and didn’t want another so I feel like that spoke volumes 😂😂 I LOVED how much protein these had. They fill you up fast and keep you full for a while. I’m really sad these didn’t work for our family but since others loved them, I think it’s worth the try if you’re on the fence!

I purchase these strictly for the protein and calories. They're not bad! Is this the best tasting mix on the market? No, but it tastes good for what it is.

Everyone in the house loves this pancake mix! The "protein" is an added bonus.

This mix is so delicious, clean simple ingredients, fluffy but crisp up on the sides of you let them!

These never cook evenly. They burn on the outside and are raw in the middle. The pancakes leave a bad aftertaste in your mouth not to mention have a terrible texture/ overall flavor. They claim to be so healthy, but have a long list of ingredients. You are better off making your own pancakes from scratch quite frankly. Pass.

Totally satisfied my craving for pancakes! This would never be the same experience as non-protein packed pancakes so if that’s what you are looking for, you know what you want and can pick that up. I wanted to try something new and was completely surprised. I always add a dash of cinnamon too.

Picky kids approved, they’re yummy, switched to these when I was tired of the bad junk in frozen waffles!

I have no idea why people don’t like this product. With two picky kids, this is their favorite pancake mix. We have tried most of the flavors but the buttermilk is our go-to.

I hated Kodiak cakes. They tasted like cardboard m. However, after being on a low sugar journey, they don’t taste as bad as i remember. You can totally add things to kick up the flavor. Kodiak is my brand!

I really tried to like these, I made them multiple times. They are very bland, which I could deal with. You can add vanilla and cinnamon and chocolate chips to help the flavor. It’s the texture that throws me off, they’re not fluffy like a normal pancake Maybe it’s just this flavor, but It’s not worth the bit of additional protein. Just get your regular pancake mix, it’ll probably be cheaper too

My family usually LOVE my pancakes until I tried Kodiak. I’m going back to making my own mix.

I used this mix to make waffles- they were wonderful! I also found a recipe online for peanut butter cookies with this mix substituted for flour - they came out great!

So I don’t know what these people are talking about not being good. They may not know how to follow a recipe idk but these are hand down delicious. My picky eater 6 year absolutely loved them. The taste is so good I thought they would be nasty because of all the reviews. Get them follow the directions you’ll love them!

This is made with whole grains, so it has a slightly different texture and entirely different taste than your run of the mill pancake. I added a touch of salt and some vanilla to zhuzh it up a bit, and it still wasn’t all that great. I topped it with Bonne Maman blackberry jam, and it was at least edible. I would not purchase again but will still eat considering the price.

The best pancake mix I've ever had, hands down!!!

Just add sand to regular pancake mix and it'll be the same. Not worth suffering through for the scant amount of protein it provides.

Just made these for the first time in our waffle maker. Followed the simple way according to the instructions- I added sugar free whip cream, blackberries and strawberries on top. Great way to incorporate more protein and enjoy a 🧇 Super yummy! My picky 4 year old and hubby barely noticed the difference!

After years of using the B brand I decided to switch. These are delish! Nice oat flavor, fluffy and even my picky hubby liked them!
