They are beyond simple to make, just one added ingredient (just water!) and taste amazing even without syrup. I love these as an alternative to normal pancakes because of the protein. They help my family start their day off with more than some sugar and carbs. One cup of the mix made about ten pancakes.

I did burn a pancake but there was no bad after taste. I could taste the chocolate chips but wish there were more. I like that there is protein in the batter and I could taste it and couldn't taste it. I like them and plan on fixing again with my sugar free syrup.

Some protein products have hardly any flavor or all you can taste is the chalky protein powder. However, with this brand they actually had more flavor of a normal pancake rather than protein. The chocolate chips add a little extra flavor. I love that they give you a couple options on the back to increase your protein intake. I did that by adding milk and egg. I do say they are on the more high price size for a small box but the price could be worth it to eat right. My kids even liked them. I do have to say they do cook on the darker side and this could be due to how your stove cooks and heats.

I substitute the milk for protein shake to give it extra protein. These are perfect for on the go. They are good for about 3 days in an airtight storage container.

The flavor of the pancakes was off for us as well. We made ours with milk and eggs, instead of just water, for a fluffy pancake. Not sure if this is something I would buy again.
