Purchased 3 of these for the living room this July and five months later the dimmer switch seems to be having problems on 2 of them. Works for a while and then the light just goes out. I have to turn off the light for 30 minutes or so and then it lights up again. What a pain in the . . . .

This lamp is beautiful, it has an old fashioned antique look. That is what I was going for, works perfect with my furniture.

This is a beautiful lamp - just what we wanted for our living room. The dimmer switch controlled by the foot in the floor was handy too. A year and 4 months after purchase, the little orange light in the dimmer switch went out and it no longer works. The button for the two side spotlights still works. So now we have to tip the lamp sideways and screw the bulb in and off to use the lamp. Super annoying and inconvenient. I saw in another review this happened to them after two years. So if there is an extended warranty past two years on this lamp, you’ll probably need it. For an expensive lamp, I expected to last more than 16 months. They obviously used a very cheap dimmer switch that breaks easily.

I absolutely love this lamp. It's everything I've been looking for, and the sale price is a big bonus. I don't understand some of the reviews, such as, "you need 2 people to assemble it", "the side lights only move up and down", "poor quality", "bad instructions" etc. I don't agree with any of these kind of remarks. It's a gorgeous lamp, well-made, packaged very securely, and I'm an 80 year old woman who put it together myself with no problems at all. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful floor lamp for an unexpected low price. We were shopping for a new glass shade for a floor lamp and fell in love with this lamp instead. The slide dimmer was a bonus surprise as well.

The lamp arrived in perfect condition and is just as pictured. It is constructed well. The top fixture can be dimmed, but the two smaller lights cannot. We are totally happy with our purchase.

We needed to replace the lamps in our living room that were not providing enough light. These lamps provide the results we were looking for. We use LED bulbs all around. The top light will accept up to a 150 watt bulb , and it’s dimmable. We use a 100 watt equivalent LED and that’s more than enough. Just make sure you use bulbs that are compatible with a dimmer switch. In the smaller lights we use 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs. These are not dimmable, so it’s not necessary to get dimmable bulbs, but you can if you want to. Some of the reviews state that the smaller side lights only adjust up and down. This is not true. They do in fact adjust up and down, and side to side. Some of the reviews state that you need two people to put the lamps together. Although it may be a little easier with two people, I put three of them together by myself. It would be nice if you could operate the two smaller lights independently rather than having to have them both either on or off. Not a big deal. I guess if I really only needed one of them on, I could just unscrew one of them. The switch is a little awkward and hard to use on one of our lamps since it’s tucked in a corner. We could run the cord out towards the front of the couch, but who wants to see the big, bulky light switch in front of the couch? These lamps are sturdy and appear to be well made. They are good looking and provide the light that we were looking for.

I like the look and the lighting quality. I do not like that the function to turn on the light is on the cord...not the lamp base.

We bought two of these lamps plus the bulbs maybe 1 1/2 years ago at lamps plus in San Mateo California. The sales people at this location are fantastic and very courteous. We like the style of the lamps as well as the sturdiness since we have small grandchildren walking near them. Unfortunately one lamp light started flickering continuously to the point of annoying. We thought it was a bad LED light bulb. We purchased a new LED long lasting bulb; again the flickering started. I now believe the lamp has malfunctioned; we imagine we are now passed the 1yr warranty leaving us with one lamp unusable totally useless to us now. This could be only an issue with our one lamp; I am not saying that the entire inventory in stock at the store may have this issue; our other lamp is just fine. This very well could be an isolated incident.

Does what it is supposed to do and looks good doing it.

We needed more light in our dark living room with 1 window. This provided much more light with the option of dimming. Perfect fit in the corner between couch & love seat. Love the option of either having top lamp on, side lamps only or all three. Very sturdy.

Brings a touch of class to my living room. Seems sturdy and well constructed.
