You just need a hammer to attach the sides that hold up the curtain rod. I hammered those on either side of my window and voila! It was ready for the curtain rod. So simple I couldn't do it myself and I'm not very handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Kenney Milton Fast Fit Easy Install Curtain Rod in my daughter’s room. It was easy to install on my own. You just measure/mark hanging points, and just use a hammer and nail to install. The curtain rod was up in five minutes. It really was like hanging a picture on your walls. My curtains are light but they hold up to 25lbs and the rod is extendable. This is a great looking product and love how easy it was install.

It honestly took me five minutes to install and put on my curtains. I love the metallic finish, it looks very sleek and fancy and adds a nice touch of elegance to my room.

At first it has a cheapy look to it. After I put it up it looked a lot better you couldn't tell it was plastic. You definitely have to put the middle bracket to help with the weight in the middle of the rod. I do like how easy this was to put up. I already had brackets on my wall so I just placed this time on there. Overall I'm pleased with this product.

I'm always skeptical about "easy install" claims but the Kenney 5/8" Milton Curtain Rod was absolutely effortless to install. The design of the rod is beautiful and solid yet lightweight. The color of the rod is a versatile gunmetal that blends with any color scheme. With the included hardware, hanging it really does take about as much effort as hanging a picture. It took under five minutes to install the rod and hang my curtains... couldn't be easier! I love the fact that the rod adjusts to whatever length I might need (from 36" to 66"). I'm so impressed with this product, I'm buying matching rods for all the windows in my living room.
