For years this has been my favorite Volume Spray in the travel size. I prefer the travel size because it has a finer mist than the large aerosol cans. I buy 3-5 at a time when restocking. For the last 4 months, when I have purchased the product - they do not spray in a mist anymore. It sprays very "wet" and heavy, sometimes in large drops. Yes, I rinse the nozzle and shake it before use. I've been reading about the propellant Butane being harmful, if inhaled. I'm wondering if you've changed something about how it is propelled? I believe all brands of aerosol hairsprays use some form of Butane. Thank you for any insight. This has been my go-to product for years and I hate to change.

I am not usually one to write reviews but having used this hairspray for years, I feel compelled to share that something has changed. The smell is now absolutely disgusting. It smells like cat pee. It is also very sticky and crunchy. I have read other reviews through Ulta that say Kenra changed the formula to be more eco friendly but it is not a hard PASS. Super disappointing.

I always try and buy the biggest bottle possible when it comes to my hairspray. I like to use it throughout my styling and I don’t have any issues with my hair becoming too hard or difficult to style with. It smells great on top of it, are used to use big sexy but I have decided to stick with Kenra based on my experience over the last several years. If you’re not sure if you love it, just buy a smaller bottle or try out the tester at the store! It lasts a good while to on top of it. I hardly ever have to restock even though I style weekly.

This volume spray works amazing! At first I was doubtful about the product because my hair doesn’t hold curl very well even with hair spray and my hair tends to be dull but this spray makes the biggest difference, it adds volume and texture it leaves a slight hairspray texture on your hair but nothing unbearable it actually is very easy to brush out the texture if necessary even with your fingers!

Kenra 25 is AMAZING - there is no buildup and no flakiness, which I love. It’s the best hair spray for styling and holding your hair in place, trust me “ it’s not going anywhere.” I’m very happy with this spray, and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs hold and volume, and doesn’t want their hair feeling weighed down. This is my go to purchase for volume. It is a dry aerosol spray that gives me instant texture at the root and or all over. It does have a grit or a texture to it but I think that’s the whole reason I use it. I have fine hair that needs volume! This product is pricey but worth it. I have recommended to many clients. Could work as a texture hairspray even. The scent isn’t my all time favorite but I think Kendra in general could work on their scent.
