This has mustard in it which the original doesn’t. But it’s fantastic for egg salad, deviled eggs, or just on hard boiled eggs. I like the slight kick from the mustard, We have & use both versions.

I guess a lot people don’t read. This is a gluten free version. It does taste different than the original because they are using a different vinegar. It’s not bad but it’s definitely not as good as the original.

Fake Kewpie
I bought this from my local target when I was running low on Kewpie Mayo and wasn't able to buy it from my local Asian grocery store like I usually do. I thought it would be similar to the one I usually buy, but I was very wrong. This one tastes just like typical American mayonnaise and actually leaves a gross after taste in my mouth. I will never be deceived again and buy this gross knock-off. I included a pick of the good kewpie alongside this cheap imitation.

Different ingredients for the product of USA version and it's not good
This is a product of USA and not the authentic Kewpie which is a product of Japan. The ingredients are different and this does not compare to Japanese Kewpie. I’m not sure why they introduced a subpar version to the market when the original is by far better. The ingredients are different like, the USA version has water where the OG doesn’t. The consistency and taste are sooo different. It should be discontinued lol. Unfortunately, my Target stopped selling the original one from Japan. I’ll have to go to the Asian groceries like before to get this now.

They changed it!
DO NOT BUY. They switched the manufacturing place, and the whole ingredient list. This is horrible. We were big fans of original JAPANESE kewpie mayo. This aint it. This tastes like all the bad american mayos
