Absolutely in love with this gate! Extremely easy to install! Instructions were extremely clear! Fits in my door perfectly, very easy to open and close! Very sturdy and durable! I love that the gate opens both inwards and outwards.

I. Can't. Say. Enough. About. This. Gate. I really can't. I have a 10 month old, a 16 month old, and a 4 year old. I also have a pitbull and a chihuahua. I have now purchased two of these gates, and I will NEVER buy a different gate. Ever. I will not. These are a BREEZE to install if you actually follow the directions, which are preeeeeeeetty crystal clear. You measure the opening, place the appropriate number of extensions, and then tighten the bolts! Once the red indicator turns green, you've tightened them enough, and you can snip off the zip tie. DONE! I purchased 4 Pack Wall Cups for Baby Gates, Wall Protection Guard Saver Protects Wall Surface, Door, Wooden Stairs. Safety Fit for Walk Through Security Pressure Mounted Gates to pair with these gates and it is just a WONDERFUL combination of things. These gates are ROCK solid and withstand the test of everything you can throw at them! I have owned well over 10 other gates and NONE compare to the security, durability, ease of installation, and appearance of this one.

KidCo Gateway White baby gate is the perfect gate to get when you have a little one like mine who likes to empty all my kitchen drawers if I turn away for a second. It was so easy to install, it came with an extension piece to use if you have a larger door way. The door itself locks so baby can’t open but it’s easy for me to open. Very well made and it will last a good amount of time. The KidCo Gateway White baby gate can also be used to keep animals out of certain areas of the house. I would definitely recommend this to all my family and friends.

I was honestly hesitant to install any type of baby gate because I thought it would be useless. Before 18 months my little beast of a baby boy broke every lock we installed on our cabinets. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the locking mechanism on this gate requires you to hit a button, lift up on the lever and lift slightly on the gate itself… I think it’ll be a while before he figures that one out! The gate itself is sturdy enough that he won’t be able to use his body weight to pull it open, either. I’m also very pleased with the way this gate looks! It allows me to leave his bedroom door open to increase airflow without letting him in unsupervised to trash the place. My dogs also love to look in on him or look through the gate and out the window.

Great baby gate! We is one at the top of our stairs & one at the bottom! Haven’t had a problem yet! Very strong & sturdy. I still keep an eye on my kudos obviously because you never know but they’re holding up well so far! Great for the price!

Love this gate. It gives a very snug fit and stays put. It does take a minute to get it all set and twisted into place. It is a little harder to open which is good because it makes it hard for little ones to figure out how to open it.

Overall the KidCo Gateway pressure mount baby gate is very well built and sturdy. The gate itself is a heavy metal. It was easy to install, it took about 20minutes. Now the issues I have with the gate is it is tricky to open. You have to press two buttons and lift the handle at the same time to unlock the gate and then you need to physically pull up the gate to clear the bar on the bottom. While this is great because kids will have a hard time trying to open this, as a mom with tons of stuff in her hands I’m not sure I can operate this gate with 1 hand - so far I need 2 hands to open the gate. To close the gate you also have to align the door correctly with the bottom bar as well as the latch. This is just so too complicated of a door for my liking.

I really wish I knew more about baby gates BEFORE I created my registry and had my son who is now a curious toddler. Each type of baby gate definitely has pros and cons and with this gate it works best right against the base of the stairs. I appreciate that the manufacturer clearly states in the description that this is not a gate for the top of the stairs due to having the piece on the bottom. I wish every company would state that as clearly because I wound up purchasing a few gates that did not work with our home because the descriptions or images were vague. I probably wouldn't use this gate in between rooms even though it says you can because of the tripping risk on the bottom. It works nicely at the bottom of our basement stairs and no drilling is always a plus for me!

The tension rod suspension installation is extremely handy and easy to do. The baby gate is very sturdy and serves it’s purpose perfectly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall I’m very happy
