A: It is a bigger backpack for kids in about elementary school. It may be slightly too big for a 2.5 year old.

Q: It says that batteries are included. But in reviews parents say it was not? Why the false advertisement? Are they supposed to be included or was it typed in error?

Q: Is the water bottle dishwasher safe? It looks like it isn't. The only symbol on the bottom is a fork and cup indicating it was made with food safe material.

A: There is a similar set on Walmart with the same cup saying it is dishwasher safe. Probably not going to chance it though just in case lol

A: Yes if you tap where it says to the lights should come on but make sure you have batteries in your bag for it to work.

I'm sorry for giving this a bad review, as I love this backpack for my first-grader, but both the backpack and the lunchbox are poor quality. The lunchbox is very small, and the water bottle broke after a month of using it only for lunch at school and there is nothing I can do because the window for return closed already.

I bought this backpack for my son starting Pre-K, and after less than two weeks of use, it has already started to rip. On top of that, he came home with the cup that came with it cracked and leaking all over the floor. Very disappointed in the durability for such a short amount of time.

Ordered for pick up on July 28. Backpack set was out of stock (no problem it’s school supply season) so we opted for free delivery - estimated arrival of July 30. We just received it today, August 6. The back part of the backpack is dirty and the water bottle is visibly damaged and covered in a weird waxy substance (see photos). Now my 7 year old won’t have this for her first day of school. Very disappointed.
