Q: These are the only vitamins with iron that my children like. Unfortunately, they haven't been availabe in-store on online for a little while now. Please don't tell me they've been discontinued.

submitted by MNmom - 2 years ago
  • A: I had the same question and I called. They said they are discontinued but may/probably will be brought back. She didn't know for sure but it could simply be a reformulation or a label change.

submitted bySteph - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the lack of inventory in your area. This item has not been discontinued. Have a great day! - Queen

Q: What kind of starch do these vitamins contain? The photo here and the bottle I purchased list 'starch' as an ingredient. Is this starch derived from wheat? Or corn? Important for celiac disease.

submitted by peach tree - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello - That's a good question. The supplements starch are derived from corn. Thank you for reaching out to us about this quality concern. Have a good day. - David

Q: Does this contain magnesium? If so, how much?

submitted by max - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi pawsmn - Thanks for asking! We asked the experts and they shared, this product does not contain Magnesium but Magnesium Stearate. Magnesium Stearate is an inactive ingredient and does not contribute to the amount of magnesium in a product. This would not be used as a source of elemental Magnesium. We hope this helps. - MJ

Was happy to find and affordable, *chewable* multivitamin for my 5yo. When we opened the container the first time, mychild frowned and said "they smell like candy" and, unfortunately, she said they tasted "too much like a candy, they're too sweet." I tried one and she was absolutely right. I know these are for kids, but dang.

The vitamin itself is good … happy to have a non gummy option for my child. However, the flavors leave something to be desired. They aren’t absolutely horrible, but I’ve definitely had better. At first my kiddo was resistant to taking them, but is willing to as long as she has something to drink immediately after.

My kids love these vitamins! They really like the fact that they don't taste gritty like other generic versions out there. Downside: Every bottle we get always has a TON of broken vitamins with a ton of vitamin dust:(

The taste of the artificial coloring and sucralose is overwhelming. These taste disgusting, and these ingredients are so harmful. Missed the ingredients when purchasing. So confused as to why something that should be good for children has such bad ingredients.

Tastes good but why the harmful dyes

3 out of 5 stars
Bonnie - 4 months ago, Verified purchaser
It tastes good and the price is decent, but the artificial harmful dyes are completely unnecessary. I’m still taking them cause my last chewable multi was sadly discontinued.

Thank you target! My child has celiac and is also a very picky eater. We’ve been looking for a gluten free vitamin with iron, and she loves these! They are comparable to Flintstones (which are not gluten free). My other kids take them now as well and they all say they like the taste!

Why all the dyes?

Quaintly is lacking obviously... anytime a company adds trash ingredients they are just being cheap and making poor quality products. Please remove the horrible dyes and artificial ingredients in this product. Why is target selling something with such garbage ingredients. There was no other options in the store but children's vitamins loaded with terrible chemicals and artificial ingredients if you need a vitamin with iron (I read every label in my local target). This is forcing people to buy this because there is no other options in a pinch. I will never buy again unless formula is changed. Wish we had better stores in my area. I do not recommend this product and wish I had a better option for my child and don’t. I'd spend double this price for a better quality product.

Good kids vitamins with Iron

Brenda R - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
Quality and ingredients are good. Taste is average and can get stuck in kids molars and cause decay, so brush teeth after use. If not used for a long time after opening, tablets start to get black dots, so keep dry and use regularly. I think it’s the iron that causes it. Very few vitamins have iron so despite a few setbacks, still superior to sugary gummies with little vitamins.

RR - 6 months ago, Verified purchaser
These are the only vitamins I can find for my kids that have all of the vitamins and minerals in the percentage/quantities I want for my boys AND contain iron. A lot of kids multivitamins don’t have any iron and then I had to spend a lot of money to buy separate supplements for them which was expensive. These vitamins are also way cheaper than Flintstones with iron and some of the Flintstones with iron don’t even have calcium in them and these do. I am not crazy about the dyes they contain, but I have looked across the internet and can’t find other multivitamins that have everything I am looking for like these do and at this price point. Also, some of the Flintstones vitamins have dyes also. Before buying these, one of my son’s tested anemic and we realized he needed to get more iron. I like that these have 18 grams of iron versus only 4 grams in other kids multivitamins. I have been happy with these and recommend them.
