I take this vitamins every morning and they are the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. There is no other type of medication that I can take due to the dosage being the correct size that I need. Yet I dread taking them every morning. And if you think I’m over reacting I’m not, trust me! My advice for the company would be to make vitamins so that you may swallow like pills, or to change the flavoring to make a more appealing and less bitterly flavored taste.

The taste was so awful. My daughter is two so I took half and she took half. She tried to eat it, but spit it out. It first wasn’t too bad but the metallic taste was so hard to get out of my mouth. I didn’t blame her for not wanting it. I will be tossing these :(
Brush teeth after ANY chewable Iron supplement

All chewable or liquid iron supplements can stain teeth (unless its a really low dose) so its really important to brush teeth after. Its worth noting that vitamin C, while an essential nutrient for teeth and which helps iron absorption can damage teeth enamel topically so be careful with that too. Brushing after chewable vit c is a good idea. Iron supplements also tend to taste bad, theyre famous for it, these actually taste better than most. Havent had labs done while using these so cant say how effective. We usually do novaferrum but ran out and these looked the best option that we were able to get quickly. Our child struggles with low iron levels and so the pediatrician has us supplement.

I am an adult female. I had been taking these for a few weeks as recommended by my doctor to help with iron deficiency. ( He said iron pills can be large and uncomfortable to swallow) I unfortunately, have noticed a grey stain on my teeth that I have been unable to brush off. When I researched this, I found this chewable vitamin can definitly cause this! Wish there was a warning on the label!!! I will see my dentist tomorrow and hopefully get this stain removed. I dont know if they were working for me or not. Can they be crushed and mixed with something to avoid chewing and the stain????

We had these recommended by a physician for an option with iron. A lot of the iron supplements for kids have reviews in which parents say their kids hate the taste. I have gotten no complaints with these. For our age we need to cut them in half which was easy to do and they didn’t crumble as I did it.

They are not great tasting but better than any other iron supplement I've tried. I cannot swallow pills so I need to be able to chew it or crush them. Instead of chewing these I crush them and add to a tiny bit of water and add a squirt of mio to cover the flavor then drink it.

I take this daily as an adult. My blood donation center recommended it as my iron was, more often than not, too low for me to donate. Even though I was taking iron supplements and pre-natal vitamins. (Post-menopause) I have been happily donating blood since I added Flintstones + iron.
