Q: How do you open the bottom? I've been trying for so long im about to just throw it away

A: Used a quarter, turned it in direction of arrow and it easily popped off. Removed the plastic over battery, then reattached. Turned on and works great!

A: Hello Josh, not sure if it is just me, but I tried Philips Sonicare for Kids 3+ and 7+, and adault Philips sonicare click on head, none of them fit this brush. Could you give detailed item that work?

Design has been updated
I (an adult woman) bought this toothbrush because I needed something with a small head. I also bought it to see if I could get the battery compartment open. Got it open in one try, you can see in my photo that the slit extends all the way to the edges, which it doesn't seem to do in the other photos. The slit also seems a lot more narrow on mine. I will say that I don't think someone with arthritis or neuropathy could get it open without a good deal of struggle even with the new design. Also, when you put the lid back on, there is a little "hook" of sorts inside the battery compartment, it stops the rectangular piece that sticks out of the lid. So if you have trouble putting the lid back on, rotate it 180 degrees and try putting it back on that way.

No replacement brush heads
My friend's toddler got a hold of my son's toothbrush and put it in his mouth, so I went into the store to get replacement toothbrush heads but could not find any. I figured I could find them online, but nope; they don't exist. It even says on the packaged toothbrush that you can use replacement brush heads. What even is the point of this toothbrush if I can't use replacement brush heads? What an unnecessary waste of plastic. I am extremely disappointed in this product and do NOT recommend it.

Where are the replaceable heads?
We like these toothbrushes, especially the inexpensive price. However, they’re obviously designed and advertised to have replaceable brush heads but those don’t exist, so that’s a bummer. The brush head does wear out fairly quickly so we wind up buying a whole new toothbrush every time instead of just replacing the head.

Functions well would like more features
This is a great beginner electric tooth brush for young kids. It is powered by replaceable batteries, not a charger. We use rechargeable batteries and after three months the power is still going strong. I was disappointed that it does not have a 2 min timer or 4-30 sec pause like the rechargeable version does. I would also like to see different colors so family members have a visual reminder of whose toothbrush is whose is whose.

I like it!
This Brush does a better job than brushes that cost 2x as much. The only con and it’s pretty big is that the bottom is very difficult to open. Outside of that it is money well spent.

The change in design ruined these!
I used these for years then you changed them & made them horrible! The bristles are too small for my 6 year old who has 5 permanent teeth already in a small mouth. The handle is longer than my adult toothbrush so it's awkward for small hands and my child keeps dropping it on the bathroom floor. These were perfect before so why in thje world did you change them and make them this way??? It's more of a beginner toothbrush than a child's yet with an adult sized handle! What the heck??? For the same price, I can get the cute character toothbrushes instead that really are the perfect size for a child (like your old design was).

Although this says it’s for kids, the head is VERY small like a toddler toothbrush. It’s better than nothing but definitely not the appropriate size for anyone over 4. It’s too long for anyone under 4 so ….
