Kinetic Sand Squish Pizza Playset

This kit is at a great price point, perfect for the upcoming gifting season. We love this toy for sensory play time. It kept my daughter entertained for hours. I like how many different shapes you can make as well as the colors you can create by mixing the four colors they give you in the kit. This kits are a great thing to have for this rainy day when you can't go outside and play. Winner in my books when I need some quiet play in the house.

My only critique is that I found the container/base of it to be a little bland with no fun designs to make it look more appealing. Other than that my toddler still enjoyed playing with the sand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was super messy. The sand came loose in the package. The clolours mixed way to easily. The tools it came with were useless. It came with no instructions and was very confusing. 7yo liked it but found it a boring. 3yo loved it but found the mess it made overstimulating. I put down cardboard and it still made a HUGE mess!! Complete waste of money in my opinion.

I love that they use their creativity to come up with different pizza creations. This kept him busy for a while and we had fun learning how to make pizza together. I think older kids would also really enjoy this kinetic sand kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids love it! I have an almost 4 year old and 16m old and they both adore this set. It is quick and simple to set up, but they were so excited that they started playing with it before it was complete. My 4yo is very much into creating food for and serving others so this is perfect for him. Ideally, you put the dough coloured sand in a pizza mold, then move it to this foam piece and place other colourful sand into another mold and squish it onto the squishy foam piece to create the full pizza. Then you can use the pizza tray to place it into the oven, take it out and cut it. Theres even a little cheese grater part on the pizza cutter which our eldest loves to use. There are places for everything to be placed in the kits plastic box, but my son prefers to use the ground and place things where he likes. Its kinetic sand so of course it just sinks together so its impossible to keep the colours separated after awhile. For us, the baby couldnt hold back and mixed it all together within a few minutes. This is rated 5+, but the baby loves sand so I couldnt keep her away. Will probably buy more sand for when the baby isnt around to mess up the colours so fast but honestly neither of them seemed to even be bothered that the colours were altogether. Or even care to use a solid colour for toppings without my guidance. This toy will easily keep both kids entertained for lengthy periods. Its more fun that play dough. You do need to rinse off the little sponge squisher thing between uses. I love that everything will stay contained in the kit. Easy to put away.. once the sand is cleaned up of course.

Forming and shaping is really hard so it just ends up mixing all together and falling apart. Its definitely one time play to make pizza. She loves to freeplay with sand so it's not a complete loss. As a parent, cleaning this up is the worst! I cover my floors before she starts to play to make clearn up easier because it gets everywhere. But keeps her occupied so can't complain! Great sensory learning and good for freeplay. My daughter didn't care to follow instructions provided and just wanted to do her own thing.

I also loved the easy clean up, coloured compartments and carrying case to keep it all in one spot my kids played nicely for over a hour together . Thank you

Upon initial opening, it came in the cutest little carry case for storage which is a HUGE bonus to help keep the sand contained. I always love parenting WINS in the mess aspect. Installation was super quick & simple, even child-patience friendly; yet another bonus! The product itself was user friendly, no issues for my 5 year old to manage on her own. In general, a really cute idea - the pizzas come out adorable. I guess the only downside would be having to mix the sand, obviously it changes colours afterwords which will change the appearance of future pizzas; but I would still HIGHLY recommend.

My niece and nephew had a great time for hours making pizza on the little squishy "stone" and using the spatula to pick it up. I like the kit that keeps all your tools in one place. This is the first activity set I bought for my kids with kinetic sand, and it was a dud. Takes up space, has very little sand inside, and the sand gets stuck on the little circle puffer spot. They were tired of it quickly. A small storage box of kinetic sand that's not in an activity set proved to be much more enjoyable for kids, age 7 and 5, leaving wider imagination for whatever they want to make with it.

The little molds throughout have the best topping options, and the colours are vibrant and fun. Even after playing a few times, we have lots of coloured sand left, and our "dough" supply looks better every time! The "rising" pizza trick is super fun to watch, and it's easy to transfer your pizza to the cutting board if you don't overfill the mold. The pizza box tray fits everything neatly inside (if you can convince your child to stop playing with everything!) Tidy-up is as easy as letting a blob of sand roll over the stray bits to be re-integrated. We can't wait to buy more colours and enhance our pizza possibilities!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always been fans of Kinetic Sand! It's easier to clean up than actual sand. It has a dough-y feel, so the kids can make creations without water! This SquishPizza was a hit for the kids. It requires a bit of attention to detail for the little minds. Their tiny fingers squished in the same to make the tiny toppings! After completing their creations, they love seeing their pizza "magically" rise! It's a great alternative to playdoh! It was simple to set up. The set itself could've been made better though. The oven kept falling over and eventually became separated and put aside. Some extra spare sand packets would've been nice as well. Once the pizzas were made, it was hard to separate the colours. So, they were only able to make so many pizzas before it all became one combined bunch of sand. All in all, it was a fun set that the kids enjoyed playing with. Even after the sand one all meshed into one bunch... they enjoyed continuously squishing the pizza just to see it rise and expand again. And I loved that it came in a storage box to keep everything contained for easy storage.

It comes with 4 different coloured sand and some tools needed to create sand pizza. My kids were able to create a few individual pizzas until the sand mixed altogether. We really liked the details on the little shape cutters (pepperoni, mushrooms, etc). They make the sand pizza more fun to play with since there's a variety for them to choose from. Overall, they enjoyed playing with this playset!
