KitchenAid Locking Can Opener Black

My old can opener had to be readjusted multiple times to open a can, and this one is just so smooth. I like the sleek black look. The locking feature is interesting, and certainly plays a role in how well it works, although I'm worried that feature may break over long-term use (it feels a bit flimsy).

Great product - i had been using an electric can opener for a bit and this is alot less hassle and gets it done just as fast - while simultaneously being better than other traditional hand helds. Honestly , SO FAR - kitchen aid can do no wrong in my book. I have one appliance and a few smaller items such as this one, and have 0 complaints on any.

Great product! We needed a manual can opener to have for emergencies and these are perfect. A lot of them are hard for me to grip and turn but these work easily with little effort. I like how lightweight they are and how compact they are. The little locking button on the side is great!

Bought this can opener for my camper. Works perfectly for that. No issues or complaints here. Definitely like this better than the very basic and cheaper ones you can get. No wrist pain from gripping it

Solid can opener that is easy to use and not bulky in the drawer. I like that the can edges are not very sharp after using this. I like that it is not bulky but I guess it lacks some hand padding if you are opening a lot of cans in a row.

We have been using this can opener from Kitchenaid and it is s sleek, smooth opening can opener. It does have a lock which keeps the handles locked closed. You unlock it to initiate use and when it clicks into place, it locks again. I am not sure the lock is necessary- but ok.

Makes can opening a breeze. I didn’t realize how dull our other opener must be. This was so smooth. It locks in place, so you don’t struggle to hold it where it needs to be a still turn. When done simply push in the button to release. The handles are made from plastic, not metal.

Really nice but kitchenaid isn’t the quality it used to be! The handles are hollow and the “lock” is made of flimsy plastic so I’m sure it won’t last long. It works well and is simple enough to figure out.
