Klean Strip TSP Substitute Cleaner 32 oz (Pack of 4)

I had never used anything like it before but I was easy to follow the instructions and worked well. Some areas I think it could have done a bit better but overall it worked well.

Will use this in the future for sure. I have been doing a lot of do it yourself items lately and this makes it much easier.

I really appreciate the strength of this product. It does not disappoint. Strong smell, but, that's because it is so highly concentrated. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are doing quite a bit of home renovations right now and We decided to paint our trim and kitchen cabinets. This TSP is great for pre painting cleaning. It took all of the residue off of the cabinets and the paint went on smoothly and easily. Just follow the directions on the package and you shouldn't have a problem. It did not have a super strong smell, which is nice because the old cleaner we used had a horrible smell. It did work very well, and I am very happy with the result!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading the directions carefully, I realized that I could not handle this product safely without purchasing safety equipment including chemical safety goggles and gloves. I visited a couple of local hardware stores and finally found what I needed. It did clean my exterior wood window frames well and left a clean surface that should make the finished product nicer and more sustainable when I paint.

It removed all of the old grime and mildew with little effort, and now everything is ready to paint. I am very happy with its performance. I would definitely recommend for anyone with any outdoor painting projects coming up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this cleaner pretty easy to use. I needed something like this for my old furniture that I’m refinishing. Are usually clean my furniture with soap and water but I wanted something a little bit stronger because I have so many pieces that come from so many places and I don’t wanna take time to scrub them if I don’t have to. This works pretty well and clean up everything. I use just a regular garage towel and I did use gloves. It wiped off pretty quickly and there wasn’t any kind of residue or anything. The one thing that I noticed is that the smell wasn’t really strong and it wasn’t terrible. I cleaned the piece outside but it still smelled okay, not strong chemical or anything like that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this stuff is a miracle worker. Works so quick isn't a super offensive smell at all. Put it on let it sit for a bit and then scrape and wife it off. Again great product for even the oldest paint to get off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping this would help remove some stain that dripped on my bricks from the deck when sealing the wood deck. It didn’t even make a dent in the stains. Maybe it’s just not the best product for the job, not sure. Was a bust for our purposes. Will try a stain remove product instead.

It effectively removed the sticky, greasy, slippery grime so I had no worries about painting the board. This had been sitting on the board for over a year and Klean Strip mastered the task.

The previous owners where heavy smokers so you can imagine the build up on them after they have lived here twenty plus years Using this product is quick easy , and effective at taking off gunk and build up even oil. With a little scrubbing these where ready to be painted . I like that this TSP isn't overpowering in smell also . Included is a before and after photo of the kitchen cabinets that where painted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Klean Strip TSP SUB QT 4PK PLAS is a back saver! I used this product when giving some of my house a facelift. Perfect on cleaning metal and brick. It has a very strong smell. Don't use indoor or without your gloves and goggles. It removed mold and mildew with very little elbow grease from me. I can even use it in my pressure washer. Summer cleaning was a breeze.

It lifted all of the stubborn grease and grime that had accumulated on my cabinets over 20 years time. The smell is not very pleasant, but it’s tolerating. Also, make sure you wear gloves while using this, because of the chemicals in it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering a painting or refinishing project. It works great!

Instead of just painting over the dirt, grime and peeling paint, I thought I'd clean it off first. I found this product and decided to give it a try. It worked great! It removed all the loose paint and debris. Now I have a clean surface to apply my paint. I will recommend this product to others.

Didn't take much effort, pretty much wiped off after following the instructions. Also worked good taking some high gloss paint off a door. Don't ask why the previous home owner used gloss on interior doors. I have no clue.

This Solvent is capable of cleaning Wood, Brick, and Metal prior to painting it. I personally used the cleaner to clean wood prior to painting a corn hole board for my backyard. The cleaner is ready to use straight from the container and it cleaned the wood very well. The cleaner made the wood clean and pop so I could make it look even better with a nice even coat of paint! When I painted the wood later, it went on easily and evenly. After the seal coat, the wood I painted looks like something I could have bought at the store. Not bad for doing it myself! I would recommend the Klean Strip TSP Substitute to anyone looking to clean their wood, brick, or metal projects before they paint them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm re-doing all of the honey oak in our house. So to prep the wood to take the gel stain I first quickly sand to break some of the gloss up. I then mix according to directions the proper ratio for this cleaner and put it in a spray bottle.
