I can’t believe they have the audacity to put “most durable” on the packaging. They tore up quicker than any other brand I’ve ever tried. I live alone so it’s not like I use them on a regular basis or on a lot of things. I couldn’t imagine a family using these and expecting them to last a week.

I love these sponges, but was puzzled to see that the 6-pack is $1 more expensive than the 3-pack…. This seems a little deceiving to me, as most people will choose the larger pack to save a little money. You can buy two of the 3-pack for $7 or buy the 6-pack for $7.99… make it make sense. Are they hoping people don’t notice or don’t do the math and just buy it assuming it’s more cost effective, when it’s actually more expensive?? Hoping this isn’t the new deceptive thing stores are doing now. Prices have already increased while the size/quantity of products decreases so we’re already paying more for less. This new pricing tactic is not cool.

Scotch-Brite Greener Clean non-scratch scrub sponges just don't last very long. I wanted sponges that look better on my kitchen counter, so either white or light brown. They stopped making the brown ones that I loved so much, so I settled for these. I've bought a few packages and have decided I really don't like them. 1- They smell very quickly. Need the dishwasher daily. 2- The scrub side is sticky. Like it's breaking down. Icky feeling. 3- The scrub side stains easily and stays that way I think I'm going to have to go back to the blue version. I used those for many years and they work great, I just didn't want blue.

The new Greener Clean sponge works well, as expected. What I didn't expect is the interaction with my organic dish soap resulting in a film I would describe as liquid styrofoam. I've used my organic dish soap for a couple of years with many other Scotch-Brite sponges including the previous Greener Clean sponge made from wood pulp. Perhaps, there is some sort of manufacturing residue in the new Greener Clean sponge made from recycled plastic that is interacting with my organic dish soap. But, I found the "liquified styrofoam" reaction objectionable enough to not want to reuse the sponge. I have been searching on the internet trying to find the previous Greener Clean sponge (made from wood pulp) to no avail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly prefer to use the Greener Clean, not due to the fact that it may potentially be better for the environment, but predominantly because I know it won't scratch some of my "polished" stainless steel kitchenware and the sink. It is, from what I noticed, just as effective as the original, especially when using powdered products like Comet, or BKF. I would imagine it's safest for those with glazed, or porcelain areas, as well.

Besides the fact that they are greener clean, they are what you expect from #M, a great-working product. I like that there is a sponge on one side and a scrubbing side on the other. In the past I've had to drag around a sponge AND a scrubbie as I was doing my cleaning but this one does both. The scrubbie side doesn't feel very abrasive (and it's "soft" enough to use on non-stick pans) but it can really scrub. If you look at the photos, I used it (with no cleaning products) to scrub my copper sink. You can see where the greenish color that happens to copper came off with just a little scrubbing. I'll be buying more of these!

I love that it's part of their greener line, because I know it's made from recycled material which is important to me. The sponge is very good at cleaning stuck on messes, but gentle enough to not damage anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a package of Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges free for testing purposes. Today I tested one on several surfaces. I scrubbed a stained coffee mug that had not come clean in the dishwasher. Using the Greener Clean Scrub Sponge and Dawn dish liquid, the stain came off. I then tested it on two non-stick pans that had burnt-on grease. Unfortunately, the non-scratch sponges made almost no difference on the burnt parts, but they did work on the unburnt parts. I also tested it on two aluminum toaster oven pans. It didn't work on those either. The last test was on my stainless steel kitchen sink, which came out nice and shiny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In full disclosure I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company sent me a free sample of The Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges. As with all the 3M products I’ve reviewed so far, they are thoughtful designed. I tested it out on a non stick pan, and it worked well, it left no marks or scratches on my pan. Next I tried it on a small measuring cup that I have a had a devil of a time getting into the small areas of. The Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges did the trick. This is a must have for your kitchen.

Without using any cleaning products I was able to get the soap scum and hard water stains off these items. The scrubber held up well while being used on the rough it. So I found this sponge to be long lasting.

Scrubber side does well with stuck on foods. The slight curve fits well when cleaning pot lids and curve of pots and pans. A little more effort need to get into corners.

The scrub pad is stiff but worked well on a brand-new Cuisinart Teflon pan. The sponge is white and easily stained with food colors (ex: blackberries, cherries, egg yolks. Etc) that take a little longer to remove. I would purchase this product to use on any Teflon pan or dish to prevent scratching while cleaning. I’ve yet to see if it still prevents scratches after months of use.

It’s strong enough to scour pots and pans, gentle enough to scour my glass top stove without scratching it keeps up shape and no resting or anything like your traditional scaling pads. This will now be a main stay in my home. I’ve got one in each of my bathrooms, and one in the kitchen for regular cleaning. This is my favorite product, strong durable efficient.
