The Kodiak French Toast Sticks have a nice balance of flavor — slightly sweet with that classic French toast taste, but not overly sugary. They get a little crisp on the outside when toasted and stay soft inside, which makes them perfect for dipping in syrup. I also like that they have some protein, so they feel a bit more filling than regular frozen French toast. Super easy to make in the toaster or air fryer, great for busy mornings.

I haven’t tried them in the microwave but using the air fryer they taste freshly made without the work: crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. I added a little bit of spray butter and sugar free syrup for a yummy start to my day. I love that they’re local to my state, too. I’ve used their pancake mix for years and also love their oatmeal but these might be my new favorite.

These used to be my favorite but they’ve gone and ruined them. They’re SO much smaller now than I remember, plus include more end/“butt” pieces that harden up so quick and are just unpleasant to eat. Why do they have to go and screw up good products!!

I have been buying these for months. I like a sweet breakfast, but have had to forsake protein until I happened upon these. They taste like mini donuts you can get at State Fairs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These French toast sticks are a decent compromise between typical frozen breakfast bread foods and homemade. I made them in a toaster oven (pic 1 is frozen, 2 is cooked), which crisped the edges slightly, while the center was pleasantly spongy. The texture is recognizably whole grain, which I like, but that quality may not appeal to everyone. The flavor is fairly neutral, and less sweet than similar products. Nutrition-wise, they definitely have more protein than what you might expect, but at 10g (and 41g carbs/16g fat), by no means is this a high-protein food. I enjoyed trying this product, and would probably wait for a sale or coupon to buy again. I might try adding an egg white custard to coat the sticks and cook in a pan, then serve with berries for a macronutrient balance that's closer to what I typically eat.

It’s like styrofoam and cardboard had a baby and then you sprinkled cinnamon on it. I’ll stick to my market pantry French toast sticks. Cutting corners as “healthier” option is pointless. Just eat the good “unhealthy” stuff. Avoids binging and you just act on your desires and go on with life.

These are such a great find for kids breakfast! My kids love these and I’ve eaten them a few times myself. Very tasty and I love that they have the added protein and better quality ingredients than the old brands.

They’re okay, not bad tasting. The size of each stick is good, but I wish they would put more in the box altogether.

I got these despite seeing terrible reviews everywhere. I cook these in the microwave and cover them in whipped cream cheese, they are awesome! If you get a stick that has a lot of bread crust it is pretty tough and chewy but still tastes good. The only thing is the few missing sticks. Love the good ingredients list and 10g of protein.

I just made these for the first time after purchasing yesterday and cooked them in the toaster oven. I was shocked! They get so crispy and are dusted and sugar and have the best flavor ever I could absolutely not tell they were like a protein product. Better than any frozen French toast I have ever had!

Microwaved as instructions said and they came out hot yes, but all four sticks were hard as a rock. It was a struggle for even scissors to cut them. I haven’t tried the oven yet, but for the quick and easy microwave option for my toddler it was not a good result.

I tried, my daughter just likes the more Sugary version of this. I was hoping she’d be open to a healthier option to be able to serve more often, but these were a no even with lots of syrup.
