The Krispy Kreme Smooth is not the same as the Krispy Kreme Classic. The Smooth is light roast and the Classic is medium roast. For several years we have had an auto shipment of the Smooth. The last auto shipment we received was the first of the re-branded Classic that we tried. I did not tell anyone of the re-branding because it was supposedly the same product that we had loved for years. However, the difference in taste and strength was noticed right away by everyone. It is not the same!!! We are not happy with this change. We want our coffee back or if anyone has a suggestion as to a comparable to our Krispy Kreme Smooth Light Roast we would appreciate suggestions.

I love this coffee but can only find it in the 6 count. I noticed other people are disappointed about this too. I read that it’s just a rebranding or relabeling but this is a light roast and the classic is a medium roast, are you telling me it’s exactly the same coffee? I don’t want to play taste test or chance it notbeing the same.

Don’t understand the reply on availability for the Smooth Coffee. The Krispy Kreme Smooth is advertised as a “light roast” whereas the Krispy Kreme Classic is advertised as “medium roast”. They’re not the same!!

Thanks for your question. The formula of the coffee has not changed, however the roast designation was modified to better match the flavor of the roast. Krispy Kreme Classic is the same blend as the Smooth Roast you know and love. Hope this helps!

It is my go-to coffee for the morning. Smooth, light roast packed with the caffeine boost. No bitterness, but wake up effects. I can't believe it is only available in 6 packs.

These pods are defective and make a huge mess. I have to cut off the top and fill the grounds into my reusable filter to get it to work. The hassle is a shame because this blend actually tastes good.

I bought this product in an 18 pack and love the coffee but the pod keeps unsealing at the top after the hot water starts going through making a big mess. So I had to open the pod and put it in the reusable pod. I would continue to buy it if Keurig fixes this problem. It kind of defeats the purpose of buying coffee already in the pods. Again I love this coffee and am hoping I just got a bad box, I will try it one more time to see how it goes. I would not recommend this product at this time without mentioning the problem.
