Description

Sometimes you just need a fresh start. Kristin Ess Hair Clarifying Shampoo removes mineral deposits, product buildup, excess oils and even silicones that can build up over time. Use this Kristin Ess shampoo when you need a deep clean.

How to:

1. Depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime to a quarter-sized amount into your palm.

2. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather for a deep clean. Add more shampoo, if desired.

3. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.

Tip: Always follow a clarifying shampoo with a super moisturizing conditioner or mask.

This Kristin Ess shampoo contains Zip-Up Technology, our proprietary strengthening complex designed to "zip-up" split ends while targeting weak areas of the hair, smoothing the appearance of damaged cuticles and helping to protect hair from environmental stressors and color fade, all while providing a deep clean.

Okay for buildup, but major hair loss

I’ve only used this product twice. Each time a week apart. With a hydrating hair mask after. And the shampoo definitely made my hair and head literally SQUEAKING clean, but trying to rinse it out was a nightmare. Both times I was just ripping my own hair out as I rinsed it. Even followed by a hydrating mask and conditioner, I still felt like at the end of my shower I was still losing hair. Super bummed out by this. But it doesn’t seem to be an issue for everyone.

Worst shampoo I've ever used

Jordin - 29 days ago
Honestly, this is the WORST shampoo I’ve ever used. I don’t normally write reviews for things, but I feel so strongly about this product and want everyone to save their money! The feel of the shampoo in your hands is so disgusting. It’s sticky, thick, and extremely greasy. It’s so heavy on your hair and does not smell good at all. Even after washing multiple times, my hair is the most greasy when I’ve used this product. I tried to like this product and used it for a few weeks and I just can’t do it. I feel like it does the exact opposite for what it says it should do.

I'm glad I tried it!

I was nervous trying this after reading some of the reviews. This was the perfect shampoo to reset my greasy hair. I have long and thick hair so it's normal for me to shed little bit of hair in the shower no matter what I use. I didn't notice anymore shedding due to using this shampoo. I would research how often to use a clarifying shampoo based on your hair type to prevent any negative effects but I liked this shampoo and it works for me!

Holy mackerel, did I lose a lot of hair using this. It smells so lovely and my hair feels soft and clean but WOW! Had to discard the shampoo and conditioner right after the shower, it was really scary/concerning how much of my hair came out after using this.

I've had the best success using this product for removing hair spray, hair gel, mousse, and all other residue. It has such an elegant smell, it's delightful. I have curly 3B hair and it's AMAZING. As long as I follow up with a moisturize conditioner it never compromised the health of my hair!

I was buying ouai at Sephora for 32$, and decided to try this one. Smells almost like ouais. The fragrance is lovely. Doesn’t linger long enough like ouais. But I’ll probably stop buying sephoras and start buying this one !

If you like having hair, skip this product. I tried it three times, and each time, I lost an INSANE amount of hair. I really cannot warn you against this stuff enough. It does break through pil and buildup, but it just isn't worth it to me.

Been using it for over 8 months now! It’s definitely more on the pricey side but worth it it! Just make sure to not use it everyday, more like 1-2 times a week depends if you wash your hair everyday. It has a nice scent too!

Great Shampoo

It was only when I started using this shampoo that I recognized the importance of scalp health. I have straight, thick, normal porosity hair but always had an issue getting my roots fully clean. This shampoo (with the "it's a 10 keratin shampoo") cleans my roots better than any thing else I've tried, and I've tried a lot. And it does it without fully stripping my hair and drying it out.
