The best thing about this dry shampoo is the amount of powder that deposits onto hair. The hair feels freshly clean when I use thism and if you ever overdo it with a shine product, this can be layered on top to soak up a little bit of the excess.
For first time use, press down firmly to unlock the nozzle.
How to:
1. Apply to dirty or clean hair at the root. (Do not apply on wet hair!)
2. Gently tap the powder into the hair to make any visible powder disappear.
Tip: This can be used on clean hair as well to soak up oils as they come out!

It is very lightweight and doesn’t seem to weigh my hair down as much. Only con is I am not as fond of the scent but it is not too bad. As a dry shampoo, it works well.

It did a good job absorbing the oils, the texture was nice and smooth and didn’t leave too much of a white cast in my hair. I’m extremely sensitive to smells so at first it was a little overpowering but it dissipated as the day went on. I was extremely disappointed when I went to use it again a few days later and the bottle was totally empty! I don’t know if the nozzle got stuck or what but I only got one use out of it.

The dry shampoo from Kristin Ess was an overall good experience compared to what I usually use. The smell wasn't overwhelming, but the fumes still made me leave the bathroom for fresh air. It left a bit of grainy texture but as it absorbed more oil, the texture lessened. I don't think the oil control was as effective as the other dry shampoo I've used. I would also like it to be tinted, even a little, so the white starch doesn't affect hair dullness so much. Still over very good.
