The best thing about this dry shampoo is the amount of powder it deposits onto hair. It makes dirty hair feel fresh and clean, and it also soaks up excess shine and oil if you overdo it with a styling product. It has a neutral brown tint that blends easily with deeper hair colors.
For first time use, press down firmly to unlock the nozzle.
How to:
1. Apply to dirty or clean hair at the root. (Do not apply on wet hair!)
2. Gently tap the powder into the hair or brush through to make any visible powder disappear.

It works great for oily hair and lasts a while. However, it STAINS. Turns my scalp brown, I have dark brown hair and the spray is more of a lighter brown. When I scratch my head it turns my nails brown and looks dirty. Be careful when spraying because it will turn everything brown and will get on everything. It also makes my hair stiff and hard. When showering you have to triple scrub to get all of the product out. It also makes my hair feel stiff. I am going to stick with the regular dry shampoo from now on.

I like how much oil this dry shampoo absorbs from my hair but if you run your fingers through your hair or have light clothes or pillow cases it will get pigment on them. I think it does come out in the wash or with bleach but it’s annoying to wake up to a brown pillow case!! Overall disappointing and won’t buy again

I tried to like it because I love my other KE products but I really don’t like this. It makes my hair extremely knotted and stringy. It doesn’t work as I had hoped. While it’s specifically for brunettes, I was surprised to find the brown residue it left after use. Sadly would not recommend.

Spray nozzle was impossible to use. At first I could only manage to press it using 2 hands which made it impossible to aim correctly. Then the top popped loudly and it was easier to press but now the stream is not even and goes in odd directions. Will have to return.

Have liked other KE products but this was a hard miss for me. Gross brown film is so hard to get off my scalp since applying this dry shampoo. It smells awful to the point it gave me a headache and my hair looks and feels oilier than before. Will be going back to anomaly dry shampoo for less than half the price

I had high hopes for this product and was disappointed. I don’t mind the smell as much as some people have stated but it didn’t anything for me. My hair actually felt more oily after I applied the product. I like that it doesn’t leave behind white residue but the brown color is just too much. It took me a couple washes to get it all out, it looked like I was rinsing hair dye from my hair. I won’t be using this again.

Way too much color in this spray! I just need my hair to not be oily. I do not need my roots touched up. This is so much dark color, that I have to wipe down my face, ears, & neck after using it. It also gets on clothes & pillow case if it touches your hair. I will not buy again. Such a shame bc their other products are great. But this was a fail for me.

I had such high hopes for this product, what a disappointment. As others have stated, the smell is atrocious. Very heavy and artifical, and it lingers until you wash it out. It did not add volume or shine to my 2nd day hair, and only mindly helped with oiliness for a short period. My hair felt like straw, and tangled very easily. Staining was also a major issue for me. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it out! Hard pass on this one!

Usually a fan of KE products so it pains me to write a bad review. First of all, I noticed a darkish bruise looking spot on the back of my neck. After googling it and honestly freaking myself out, I had a thought to check the reviews on here because maybe this dry shampoo leave stains. Sure enough… there’s been quite a few complains about it staining your skin. And then just the past couple days, I’ve gotten terrible dandruff on the back of my head. Not just itchy… it literally burns. Had the same thought to come on here and check the reviews and another reviewer had the same exact problem with the irritation and dandruff. I’m honestly appalled at this product—I can’t believe that it is even allowed to be on the market.

The scent is stronger but doesn’t bother me much. I have medium/dark brown hair and this product does still show a white cast for me. It also does not do its job well and my hair is always greasy again very quickly after use. If you are a brunette, the brunette Batiste is the way to go and I will continue to use Bastiste from here on. This is NOT worth the $$.
