The thing I love about this formula most is that it gets your hair super clean but also leaves it feeling
moisturized and looking shiny. It's hard to find a shampoo, particularly a sulfate-free shampoo, that does both really well.
Lather, rinse, repeat! You know the drill right?!
How to:
1. Depending on the thickness of your hair, dispense a dime to quarter-sized amount
into your palm.
2. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather.
3. Rinse clean and repeat if necessary.
Tip: If my hair is extra oily or has a lot of product in it, I like to shampoo twice.

It smells amazing and I have long hair so I was skeptical about the small bottles but it lasted me for a long time actually it’s still about halfway full and I have had it for about a year or better now so. No hairloss at all and it’s been used by my daughter and son as well. So I think it’s great love her products

Q: How do you open the bottle? The most poorly designed pump bottle I have EVER dealt with. WASTE of money as I cannot use the bottle and now have to be hassled to return it when I specifically ordered it online so that I didn't have to go to the store.

A: Hello! Sorry for the inconvenience. For the pump, with dry hands, hold the collar of the pump and turn the nozzle piece counterclockwise until the pump pops up. Make sure the collar under the pump is tightly screwed into the bottle. We hope this helps!

Cleanses very well but drying
The consistency of the shampoo is liquidy & not that thick but foams up so nice and lathers up so nice in my hair . I do like the smell it’s kinda of relaxing to me . It doesn’t feel stripping in the shower but once my hair air dries it made my hair look bit frizzy from the top and my lengths felt dry which I didn’t have before . I wouldn’t get this again .

Luxurious moisturizing shampoo

Better than High end, expensive brands
Not a promotion, just a shocked and satisfied consumer. I’ve been switching between this shampoo and conditioner duo and other high end brands such as Olaplex and Joico. This one is NUMBER 1. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, shampoo lathers well unlike the high end shampoos from Ulta. And it smells amazing. What really topped it for me was the fact that my hair was extremely soft after blow drying. With the high end shampoos/conditioner duo, after blow drying my hair feels so dry and brittle. Not with Kristen ess signature shampoo and conditioner! I am a forever fan of this and will ditch the expensive brands and stick to this. No noticeable hair loss. I love this so much I had to leave a review

It’s okay for the price

However, it is labeled as clarifying and I don’t love using it for every single wash because it can leave my hair feeling a little stripped. The scent is reminiscent of oatmeal shampoos, but there’s something extra I can’t put my finger on. It’s not my favorite scent, but it’s light enough it doesn’t bother me.

Caused Hair Loss
I’ve always had fine hair, but I have a LOT of it. After using this shampoo & conditioner for a couple of months, I started to notice patches where I could see my scalp. I thought maybe it was stress related or perimenopause, so I made some lifestyle changes & started taking biotin, but the hair loss kept getting worse!! I eventually switched hair products and that resolved it - thankfully my hair started to grow back. I didn’t realize that a clarifying shampoo could do that, but apparently it’s pretty common and more people should know about it.
