Velvet formula feels very soft
My favorite combo. The velvet formula feels very soft. Lip liner applies smoothly and matches with lipstick, making the lips look fuller. The packaging is cool.

Charm color looks natural
I really wanted a shade that was natural and not aa dark as posie k. Charm was definitely the choice. This is my first velvety kit and I like it. I had to do the whole kiss a napkin to take off the excess and it worked. I tend to have a lot of redness on my skin and this color doesnt bring it out. Definitely recommend for the pale girls ❤️

Doesn’t emphasize lip lines easily!
Before swatching, I used a lip primer and Lip Erase to neutralize my natural lip color, so the shades look pretty accurate. All photos were taken under white lighting, not warm yellow light. Compared to the matte lip kit, I prefer the velvet formula because it’s less drying. I just wish both formulas were a bit less dry and had more shade options!

Color was different than the end cap color
The color looked more pink on the Plastic in cap. I bought Bare, Which look pinkish, but you cannot even see it, so no sense in wearing it

I wish I could get my money back
It's a shame because the colors are great; however, this product does not have any staying power at all. It gets all over everything and wears off no sooner than you apply it. My lips are also terribly dry after wearing it.

I really like the Kylie Jenner Creme Velvet Lip Kit. The color applies evenly and gives full coverage in just one swipe. This is one of my favorite lip shades. I love, love, love how easily the lip pencil glides on the edges of my lips. I love that the color lasts and lasts. Even when I have a beverage my color stays. Sometimes there is a lip color mark on the edge of the glass but I don't have to reapply the lip color unless I wipe at the lip color or eat food. After applying the lip color, after it dries, I can touch my lips and the color doesn't transfer on my finger. This is a lip duo I will use time and time again!

Unfortunately not as good as it use to be
Unfortunately nothing like the original lips kits that came out a couple of years ago. The original kits use to stay on really well, no lip colour marks on glasses but now as soon as you take a sip of a drink there’s marks on the glass, it’s as though the formula has changed? I’ve bought many kits of the years but not sure I’ll continue due to the product not being the same as it use to be.
