A Formula So Long-Lasting, It's Hard to Remove
I genuinely struggled to remove this and it didn’t come off after using Micellar water and makeup wipes. I had to use baby oil and a makeup remover cloth! So this formula is amazing! However, I wish they had more coral or peachy shades similar to Baby Tee from their Teddy Tint line. I’m wearing the color Poet which I thought would be light neutral but it’s muted and warm, which unfortunately doesn’t suit me. Hands down this is the best lipstick and I keep a red version of this on hand for when I want a mess-free red lip!

Voyager is NOT for white girls! It looks like they are gothic. Does not look like person in the picture. a little too matte also.

Takes long to dry. Comes off on coffee cups and definitely doesn’t not stay on long. Also dries out my lips. Unlike cover girls colourstay. Much better than this. Disappointed with purchase

Because of its intense durability, it can have a slightly tacky sensation during the initial drying phase. To achieve a smooth, comfortable finish, we recommend applying a very thin, even layer and allowing it to dry completely for several minutes without pressing your lips together. If the stickiness persists, you can lightly dust a translucent setting powder over the top or ensure you are applying it to completely bare lips, as lip balms or oils underneath can sometimes interfere with how the matte formula sets. Red is Horrible !
Absolutely love #30 Romantic. The red is a different matter. Completely different. Didn't last through dinner. Never was matte like # 30. Very watery. Big disappointment.

Color wasn’t what was expected…? (Mislabeled?)
So I bought the super stay matte liquid lipstick from a beauty retailer, I brought home the shade ruler. At least, I think I did… in the swatch picture on the maybelline website, it looks like the perfect pinky nude shade, but the one I brought home was a really deep, dark wine red… was it perhaps mislabeled? The packaging doesn’t match the picture either, mine is more dark and warm. I think I might have gotten the shade charmer instead labeled as ruler. Review: Wear test was pretty good, it is quite sticky feeling however, and I saw some peeling and bare spots on the inside of my lips whenever I ate or drank. Dried down pretty quickly, within five minutes, color is super pigmented! With it being matte, it does bring out the lobes in your lips, but I personally don’t mind it. Overall, this is an awesome and affordable liquid lipstick to use everyday or on special occasions.

There is nothing more confusing than expecting a "perfect pinky nude" like Ruler and ending up with a "deep wine red"—it definitely sounds like you might have a case of a New York "shade swap" or a mislabeled tube, especially if the packaging doesn't match the site! While the mystery color sounds stunning, we want you to get exactly what you’re looking for. It’s awesome that you loved that intense pigment and the quick five-minute dry down, but we hear you on that sticky feel and the "inner lip" peeling—when you’re out on the town, you need a formula that can handle a snack without leaving bare spots!
