This lipstick has a lot of staying power...more than you may want. Putting it on was a challenge, as it stuck to the sides of my mouth and was quite impossible to blot. Even after I got most of it off, a small amount of grey residue was left. That being said, once it was on it stayed on. I wore this for a whole day, and didn't have to reapply once. My day included eating and drinking, and I didn't have to worry about my lipstick coming off. It dried matte and looked quite nice, the only problem is also its greatest strength: it's to darn sticky

It has great pigment, the color doesn’t quite resemble the packaging color. And it stained me, I swatched it on Monday and I still have the stain on Thursday. I understand it’s supposed to be long lasting but I’m sure there’s better ways to achieve that without it staining your skin for 3+ days.

Love the staying power of this product! Maybelline Super Stay Matte is exactly that! When I apply this product mostly by applicator to define the outline of my lips, then use color stay lipstick to fill in at 9 am, the color stays true through my entire work shift. I do drink water and snack but the color does not transfer to my straw or fade away. My lips look the same all day!
