So it works well it just pulls your hair out if your new to curling your hair with a flat iron,the only bad part is you need an excellent heat protectant because it will damage your hair,even the first use. I did have it on the highest setting so maybe that’s why my hair got so brittle and dry but that’s my opinion on it. If your seeing mixed reviews just try it out yourself and see and if you don’t care for it,you can always return it

I bought this to flat iron my hair and thought it was cool that it was also a curler. it curls pretty okay but the plates don’t touch… you have to grab a pretty thick chunk of hair for it to flat iron and even then, it’s barely straightening it. i read other reviews that said the same thing and i had figured they weren’t using it right because no way that the plates don’t touch but they don’t..

So far I love this, i’ve only used it one time to get ready for a bridal shower, I love that it blends everything into one instead of having several attachments. being able to straighten, curl, or give your hair a blow out. it’s so easy to use and my hair actually holds the curls.

This had high reviews so I thought I would try it out. Ended up LOVING it! The fan part is super nice and there are many heat settings. I have thick, wavy hair and have used it to curl my hair. Curls turn out great and they stay!

I honestly was not impressed with this. I think the overall barrel size is too large to make a truly effective curl. I have fine hair that holds a curl like a CHAMP. It may be because my natural texture is curly. To me, all this iron does in the end is make it look like I straightened my hair and managed to give it a small amount of volume. It's really nothing impressive to me. It does work just fine as a multi styling tool. The cooling fan is a nice touch, but it's a bummer they can't have that with a smaller barrel size. The fan noise is much quieter than I expected. I don't feel any discomfort in my ears while using. Overall, if I'm looking for a more controlled and frizz free curl than (which my natural does not provide, unfortunately), this is not the tool I would use. If I'm looking for straight hair with a little volume, this is what I would use over a regular flat iron. This tool does not provide the same effect as a 1 inch barrel curling iron, sadly.

I used this item consistently for a year. It had great results! My hair always had perfect beach waves. I started to notice a few months ago that some of the hair on the top of my head was shorter than the rest, but I’ve never had breakage before, so I didn’t know that’s what it was. Prior to using the Le Duo I used a hair straighter every day to produce the same waves. I did this for over 2 years with no breakage. The Le Duo caused such extensive damage that my hair was an inch shorter on one side in the back. I had to get 2.5 inches cut off just to start the repair process and can no longer use heat on my hair if I want it to grow in healthily. So yeah. DON’T BUY THIS. Bioionic is the way to go. That’s what I used before the Le Duo. L’ange is a great company, but this product is horrible for hair health.

I like the idea of this iron, but it does not work well to straighten thin hair. The plates remain loose and do not hold the hair when straightening. I reached out to the company. This was the way it was made. If you plan to use this as a straightener for thin hair I would get something else.
